hi everyone, i have been working on a new pic and my model is wearing knee high boots. when i pose the model kneeling her knees come through the boots and so do her feet. how do i stop this? i would be greatful of any detailed help. thank you very much.

The feet are easy: just turn off visibility for your characters feet.
Knees are trickier. If you hide the characters shins, you may be hiding too much, it might leave gaps where you should see the knee.
Using the "taper" dial on the shins probably helps.

By the way, do those boots have morphs? In that case, you might be able to widen the tops a little. If not, you can try using the xScale and zScale dials on the thighs (will force the shins to grow wider at the tops), or you could use magnets to adjust the boots.

You said "magnetize". Does that mean you're using Victoria 4 (or 4.2)?
In that case, the solution to the knee problem may be simple. Make sure you have a body part of the boots selected, then go to the Pose library and click one of the "Magnetize" poses. If the figure is the first Victoria 4 in the scene, click the first pose, if it is the second, use the second, and so on. It might be enough.

If you'e using a figure other than Victoria 4/Aiko 4, you will have to create magnets on the boot parts yourself. You can find out how to do that in the manual, and Dr. Geep also has some good tutorials on using magnets.

hmm...not sure, but there's a Daz Studio forum here as well...you could ask them...

Just save the scene. DAZ|Studio can read Poser scenes.
Problem is, DAZ|Studio doesn't have magnets. It has D-formers, which are similar, but not the same. So your magnet work is lost.
Better to render it in Poser itself.
