Hello!

I have made a head in zbrush. Then i imported this head into poser7, where i want to make hair....well here i get lost. And how do i conform hair to imported object .Can someone write me how to do it or post a link tutorial....:)

Thnx for reply,......

Use non conforming hair and just make it fit Kaz or Maya.  Or take your head into the hair room.  It's actually really easy.  I made a goatee for the CP BigPig the first time I tried the hair room.  However, I'm having a hard time saving the hair other than in a scene.

Most of the hair you'll see around here is not made in the hair room - it's an additional prop or figure with a transmap and texture added. For non-animated pictures they still usually look better, unless the figure is running, being blown by the wind or lying down... :)

Looks like grass :)
Calculate dynamic after making hairs (remember checking "collision")

Check freebies. Kawecki made great software converting dynamic hair to prop.

You can either conform dynamic hairs to your head but you must fit skullcap first.

  1. First you should load skullcap to the scene. (You can load whole hairs from library and delete hairs leaving only cap)
  2. Using scaling tools and magnets fit it to your head as good as it possible.
  3. Spawn morph target and delete magnets.
  4. Go to cloth room, clothify skullcap - collide against head prop. Increase little bit cloth density and calculate simulatuion - if skullcap does not fit correct change cloth density or another parameters till it looks good.
  5. On frame where skullcap looks natural on head spawn morph target again.
  6. Set dynamic = 0 morphs =1 and export obj as a morph target
  7. Load desired hairs from library, select skullcap and "load morph target". Fit it to head prop.
  8. In animation menu "recalculate dynamic all hairs"
