Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 7:38 pm)
Look in the contents of the pose file that produces that problem, and see if undesirable channel info may have been included - specifically "translateX/Y/Z" parameters.
On your HD find the pose you applied and open it in text editor (should be in yor poser/runtime/libraries/pose/..... the file will have the same name which you can see under the thumbnail in POser + extension pz2 = filename.pz2)
Then (inside editor) look for the actor (bodypart) which gives the problem - the names are not exactly the same like for real human.
When you find it look for lines with: translateX, translateY, translateZ - normally they shouldn't be there but like pjz99 said they can. In case you find them then just remove or make them 0.
...or possibly go back to the source you got them from and ask for either a correction, or a refund if you paid money for them. The only things that should ever be saved into poses - that is, poses that actually POSE the character, as opposed to utility poses that apply materials or some such - are joint rotations, with the sole exception of hip translations. Expressions are a small exception, but those ought to be separate files again.
Do you ever get this kind of problem when you manually pose the figure? If not, then the problem is certainly with those specific poses - junk em if so, or you could poke around some more and pick out whatever screwed up data is in there and try to clean it out.

I have tried to do so... It seems nothing happens... Then the poses pack is in the trash bin
:-)
I stop free poses then.
Thanks a lot
Well, there are lots of free poses that are OK, and (very sadly) lots of commercial poses that are not so OK. ;)

Any idea ?

Doublecheck to see if the pose has changed any scaling. Sometimes, it seems that poses that aren't made for a figure will end up changing a scale value. I suppose since Poser doesn't know where to put the value, it randomly decides to muck with the scaling. If all the scale dials aren't showing, download "unhide parms" http://www.ockhamsbungalow.com/Python/ from Ockham and apply it to the figure to reveal the translate/scale dials.
PS - Make sure IK is turned off. Sometimes, that has weird results when applying poses.
