Probably going to regret asking this
Did you add the morphs to the gens, too? Or are they in there to begin with? (Shows how often I use M4) And, yeah, that's GOTTA hurt.

Can you add morphs to the gens? It seems to have some, but not all, in it's "native" state (ie as it is created by the installer and updater).
How would one add morphs to the gens? I thought the morphs were specific to the object (M4). I don't have a folder for gens morphs (that I can find - is there one created during install?).
I do not use power loader, as I use Carrara. Would that be required to load them?
Thanks.

Thanks. Actually, I think you have to install that file to have M4 Gens at all. I did that. It's just that the installed morphs do not include a number of the corresponding body morphs. I was looking for some way to find and load the additional morphs, or maybe only slender M4's are allowed to have gens.
Regards.

Yes, I have Morphs++, and have successfully loaded them into M4. I have even tried injecting them into the M4 Gen, although this doesn't seem to do anything. Since they are trying to morph much more than just the small piece of common geometry, I don't think these morphs (intended for M4) will work on the gens. There are clearly some morphs included with the gens (bodybuilder, superman, thin, etc) but not the heavy, bulk etc. Thus, if you dial up the torso at the hips, the attachment mesh stays put and, from an external view, sinks inside the body.
Painful (and not very realistic).

But they should!

My question-Do you have his gen under his hips in the hierarchy? Perhaps you are having that 'sinking' feeling Snicker due to the gens remaining stationary while they body is being morphed/moved?
I haven't tried to morph the gen in Carrara yet-I'll try tonight and see if I can figure this out.
Besides----it'd be too amusing to see to pass up. :)
Gen is conformed to M4, it does not seem parented to any particular part (when viewing the hierarchy). I would say, however, given the physical appearance, that it is parented to the hips. Where else?
I believe that the problem is simply that many morphs which expand the torso were left out of the M4 Gens when it was created, and I simply lack the programming skills to insert them.

I don't know if I did something wrong, or if this was the intent but perhaps someone can straighten me out. If you attach the M4 gens, and dial up M4 to have a beer belly (or even just bulk or heavy) the gens stays where it started, and is inundated or subsumed into the corpus. That's got to hurt. Has anyone else noticed this condition, or did I do something wrong in not getting those morphs into the Gens object?
