God people. I just got #4! Give them a little time to come out with five. (And they should make it free, instead of making us spend another hundred bucks to upgrade!)

Is Bryce 5 really here? Shoot, I am a bit broke, now, too. Anyone wanna buy a partially completed garbage lizard model? Didn't think so.

Khrys, Poser 4 has been around for, what, about a year and a half now? They've had plenty of time to bring out Poser 5. I just hope it's worth the money. I've heard very negative things about Bryce 5. Not that that has anything to do with it; they're not the same company, I know, but when upgrades come out, people tend to search for all the flaws and point them out. I think I'll wait until people have tried it first and see what they have to say about it. Melanie

I just checked out Corel's site (have been for the past couple of weeks) and it doesn't look like Bryce 5 is on sale yet...although they say it will be on sale this month. They're going to have to offer some vast improvements for me to upgrade to 5. I just upgraded to VUE 4, and it seems eons ahead of Bryce. (Little pun there on e-onsoftware. I know, very little.) I am interested to see some feedback on Bryce 5 from the beta-testers. But then I guess I'm in the wrong forum for that. Besides, I thought the Poser Pro-Pack was a pretty good first step for Curious Labs in upgrading 4.03. And they've already released two Service Releases. I haven't gotten into the Python scripting yet, but it looks interesting. Doc

Oh yes, dcasey, it IS on sale. My copy is shipped today from amazon.co.uk and I'm waiting, waiting... - Zoot

PC Connection also sells it for $119 (upgrade). I haven't ordered it yet because a lot of people have complained about its shortcomings. Same reason I haven't gone to ProPack yet, too. I've heard a lot of complaints about how some things don't work well. I'll wait for Poser 5 and hope that it's better than I'm expecting. Melanie
