My project (as usual for me) involves re-creating a whole character from scratch, that is, face, hair, tattoos, clothes, and so on.
Shoes are the first step in this project because they are very particular. They are running shoes like these ones:

But they are very cool! The separated toes allow for more grip when climbing and jumping.
Do you think they would be hard to model? Would like to try?
OR: maybe they could be done morphing an existing (free or commercial) item?
