"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.
You can use Blender and ZBrush for those. Blender is free: http://www.blender org
ZBrush is a commercial product but well worth the money: http://www.pixologic.com

Yep, almost any 3D modeler now will have tools to make human figures with. The trick though is do the tools feel right to you while using them?
I prefer tools that at least have x,y,z axis dragging/rotating/scaling manipulators to use. I consider 3D modelers without manipulators to be more for CAD-like use for sure where you are working off of a workplane all the time.
Amapi tried to escape the workplane methodolgy and Hexagon was created from it.

Hi. Maybe some of you can help with this. A few years back DAZ had in thier forum that they where selling a software they used to make Victoria 1 thru 4 models for a cheap price or having it in a prize give away for a contest of some sort. I really can't remember. But I would like to know what software that was they use in building those models. . Also what modeling software are people using to produce products such as Boots, Gloves, Shirts, Pants etc etc.
Either way my question is what software did DAZ make V1 -3 ?
Thanks for all the help! :)
