Poser Technical F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 04 2:47 am)
Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.
Where computer nerds can Pull out their slide rules and not get laughed at. Pocket protectors are not required. ;-)
This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.
Quote - I was gifted these files.
They are numbered in sequence..
I don't understand how this information is relevant to the last questions I asked, so let me rephrase :-
Does either the original filename or the new filename contain a " " or a "_" ?
Do both file names have the extension in lower case (e.g. jpg) or was the original extension in upper case (e.g. JPG) ?
OK, so as it's definitely just one image, unless you find something about that image that's unusual, then there's not a lot more help I can give you.
If the image format is one that allows an alpha channel, then it's not unknown for those to be processed incorrectly (in this case a bug report to SM would be in order, but only if yuo can legitimately supply the problem image to them).

The backgound image has been Redone in Artmatic Voyager..
I have redone the scene using the same figures with different textures..
Now I render using the exact settings as before..
What do I see?
No background.
No texture on the wings
No detail on the skin..
Help..!
Preview above.
If there's a problem with that image then it's a problem in the specific format of your copy.
Once it's been through whatever mangling this forum uses to tidy up images for posting it is called "file_440349.jpg", is "JPEG image data, JFIF standard 1.01", is 242163 bytes long, and works fine as a background, at least in my copy of Poser 8.
