Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 8:41 am)
What do you mean by real bad? One major feature of PoserPro is the ability to render with Gamma Correction. This is lacking in all other versions of Poser and it is very necessary for correct lighting and viewing of rendered images. If you do not understand what gamma correction is, I refer you to the link below:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma_correction
Once you grasp the concept, perform a search of the forum for more information as it pertains to Poser.
Poser 8 does Global Illumination (called Indirect Lighting). Poser Pro does not (next version will though).
edit: err, I think you're actually asking about the MAT poses in a lot of old content labeled "Poser ProPack" (now nine years old). That's nothing to do with any of the current versions.
If I now looks render (see sample) it looks like the arm clothes are unsharp of out of focus. This can be nature of texture of course but i dont think so
Thks again for help

The fstop feature is being used incorrectly. You need to establish a distance for your model, select an appropriate fstop, and set depth of field in your render settings. Pixel sampling required for this feature: 10 to 15. Dr. Geep has more information how to set this up.
BTW, it is not necessary to maximize your render settings. Otherwise, you will find your render times increasing significantly to the point of crashing. Also, you must check your materials for bump and displacement mapping. If such mapping does not exist, activating displacement in your render will do nothing.

Hello all
A question. Me mostly use Studio but now also Poser Pro since me already had that sometime. When I look at some products like clothes it includes mat files for example poser 6/7 and Poser Pro but a lot of products just have one.
There must be a major diff for some reason since some mat textures look real bad in Poser Pro. I think related to shader(nodes) but me dont know so ask. Can somebody help me and explain major diff between poser and poser pro besides options
thks
