I had never heard of Irfanview. I'm not in this 3D/2D media industry as a professional. What I do here with my Gallery is a hobby for me to de-stress, have fun, and enjoy this friendly community.JPegger was recommended to me by one of our engineers. He's an electrical engineer and therefore not privy to what programs are available to you professional artists.
I thought JPegger was great (and it is free) so I thought I'll share the link, especially after I had received a question by another hobby artist like myself about how I reduce file size of my uploaded images and still maintain quality.
Anyhoot thanks for the word on Irfanview. It looks interesting so I'll give that a go too. I'm easy and don't care what programs I use as long as they complete the task with the minimum fuss as possible.

Yes,, Irf has been out for a looooong time..I used it before I ever took up 2D and 3D art...as a hobby..lol
I'm a long way from being a professional.
If you download irfanview..be sure to get the plugins also..its all free.

Recently I came across a free image viewer "JPegger".It quickly downsizes / resamples an image.
This is handy to meet the files / image size restriction of the Gallery on your uploaded images.
JPegger can be downloaded from the following website.
http://www.vallen.de/freeware/index.html
Important Note: Make a backup copy of your image before converting or downsizing it.
There is no "undo" feature in JPegger.
Have fun.
