I have a lot of props for an object. I want to be able to have one prop. But with all the separate props contained in the one prop. How do I do this in Poser 7 ? I want to save the one prop to my library as a pp2 and export the object as a wavefront obj file. I hope this is not too unclear to understand what I'm trying to do. Thank you. End result is to be able to Y rotate the steering obj.

Open the hierarchy editor , and place all the props into the proper hierarchy . Then select the base part of the props and use the create figure button near the bottom to create a figure.

If you do it right you should be able to have the steering operate. You might need to hide a lot of the dials.

Anither way is to parent all the parts and export it as one group. That should combine all the objs into one.

You appear to have made a figure rather than a set of parented props.
In this case you'll need to turn off bending for the various elements (that's only applicable to organic rather than mechanical objects) and also the JPs and axis order will need setting properly.

Yes.
You might want to look over some of Dr. Geep's and PhilC's tutorials dealing with figure creation and adjusting JPs.

For a figure like this you should switch off bending for all the parts.
