Subject: Upgrading from poser6 to poser8 or poser pro 2010

 I tried to purchase the upgrade on the webshop of Smith Micro. So obviously i had to give my serial number. 

But i get this message that the serial number is not recognisable and then they suggest that i visit the support site of the Smith Micro website. 

So i registered the poser 6 with Smith Micro hoping tht this would solve the problem still the same fault message.

I tried there knowledge base with all kind of search words and combinations,......... no answer to be found.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

we need to wait a bit before they allow a less expensive upgrade price from poser 8 AFAIK.

The best thing to do is contact CP support, once you're sure that the problem isn't anything related to actually entering the serial (extra spaces from cutting and pasting, 0 or O, 1 or I misreads etc).

 Yes contact tech support. If I remember correctly there were some problems with p6 SN not being recognised. that maybe the case again.
