1) How can i transport the colors from the transparent picture onto the second plane ? 2) How can i avoid the inverting of the picture ?

Can you explain what you trying to do? Can you show the setting for the shader with gray scale?

I have used a front rectangle. Textured with a picture and transparent.

I have used a second rectangle. Texured only white.

Now i want to tranmit the picture from the first to the second. With the light who pass through the first one.

It works, but it's inverted and not colored !

The steps to do it is to select a glass material for the first plane. Then add the picture to the transparency of the glass shader !

try the method in attached shader. the forum users don't know what you mean by "dia". it's unclear if you wish to use a transparency map in conjunction with your projected image.

this is what the render looks like with medium settings and caustics. it looks more blurred without caustics. getting a sharp or blurred projected image is something you can do in poser when using a gel on a spotlite, but the stained glass effect possible in carrara is not currently supported in poser.

I mean like a slide projector works. A little frame with a transparent photo. I can project the picture with a slice projector on a wall !

caustic checkbox at bottom right of render room/render settings, pro version.
may not be present in express. however, this transmissive light effect is not caustics,
as it works in carrara pro whether or not caustics is checked. this effect is neither indirect
diffuse nor indirect specular (caustics).

YOu can get a more clear image if you use a white shader in the second plane, not a gray one.

If you're just interested in the projection effect, couldn't you just use a gel applied to a spotlight?

Not sure if that's the case, but it probably doesn't hurt to mention it.

Best way is to put the image into the translucency channel of the front plane.

The gel idea is good, but not very usefull for my plans.

I want constructe a building. This building should have colored glass.
If the sun is moving the colored light should follow the movement.

Then i want port it to poser 7, carrara 7 express and shade 7 !

It's more a slice projection effect !

Maybe my post seemed too short and easy. If you put the image in the translucency channel, it will be projected on the surfaces behind. It will even work through multiple surfaces.
