Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
You can't do this with a texture, that would require the teeth to be single sided lanes and not actual models. It should be done with a morph.
Since the G2 figures has the same bodies with different heads, any morph should be made for the specific character. Which one is it you're using? I wouldn't mind giving it a try, but I'm on my way home from work now after a full night's work, so I need some sleep first...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
I'm using the Ahava modification for the Olivia figure.
I'm attaching an earlier version of the current render with this character, which doesn't show much tooth. The next render may show her mouth, and the character -- from the Tournament of Death -- is supposed to have shark teeth.

Millennium Teeth might work. They are "false teeth" with plenty of morphs. You would have to fit them to your model, though.www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/millennium-teeth

That should just be a matter of size & placement, though, right?
And figuring out how to turn off the native teeth. (G2 seems to have less morphs & options than DAZ figures.)
Seems like a good suggestion, if I can make it work.
Thanks!
(Other suggestions still welcome.)

Andolaurina's Oktober character for Sydney has fangs. It's on sale for $1.99 at CP...

The Wisdom of bagginsbill:
"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."I ended up using the Millennium Teeth from DAZ, which has a nice pointy option. I used the Stephanie Set (there are a few sets of teeth, all from DAZ1 folk, I think), which seemed a good match for Olivia/Ahava. Didn't even have to resize them, as it turned out.
A bit tricky placing them in the head, but I had a pose with a slightly open mouth to start. Then put the teeth in the scene at about the right spot (over Umira's head) using the side view camera. Then I simply moved them down until I could see them through the open lips, using both the side and front views of the head to adjust them up and down & forward and back, until I got them when I liked them
Then I parented the teeth to the head.
Then I went to the Materials Room and made the material on the original teeth 100% transparent. Maybe there was a better way to "pull" the original teeth, but that's what I came up with.
The new teeth have their own open & close morph. So when I open the character's mouth, I have to then go to the teeth figure and open them, too, an appropriate amount. Again, maybe there's some easier way to do that, but I don't know it.
All in all, it seems to work pretty well, and it achieves the effect I wanted. (Tip for Writers: One should always be careful when describing a character that one will one day have to illustrate.) We'll see how it turns out in the final render(s).
Thank you, one and all, for all your great suggestions!
I will put up some pictures of the final results when I'm on the rendering computer later (it's busy rendering now).

I have a render where it would be really great to have some shark-like teeth for G2 women - but I'm having no luck finding such a product.
Any suggestions?
Would it be possible to do this with a texture for the teeth if all else fails? (Or is that going to be amazingly hard.)
Your help & advice appreciated!
