Subject: HELP !!! How can i invert ecosystem attatched wit my terrain.

i m trying to create terrains with ecosystem .. have a look at image.

i want the ecosystem to be populated to inverted terrain,

You'll have to rotate the bottom terrain right way up, then populate, then rotate it again.
One consequence of this is that you'll need to use seperate EcoSystem materials on each half so that you can populate seperately.

Or paint them on? rotated/saves seperate plants first though perhaps??
never tried that yet so I don't know :)

This one is a little more tricky than you'd think at first glance.

I did a few tests, and I've come up with a workaround that works.

  • Painting doesn't, if you want what I think you what :)

Now: Duplicate the terrain. Flip the duplicate (IN PLACE!) round the vertical axis. Populate both as desired. Rotate the duplicate 180 degr. Group them for easy handling.

thanks... man.. this is what i did... painting didnt work... so i think fliping it is the only 1 thing.
