THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Any bets on when the patch will be released????

Well, it's quite clear that we need a patch for Bryce5. And I know that Corel is aware of this and is working on it. But I'm frustrated with the wierd things that are happening in Bryce5 for me. I really hope the patch comes soon, because we need it. Anyone have any clue or any speculations on when the patch will be available for us to download and make everything better in Bryce5? I'm just curious. I had to wait over a year and a half for eovia to acquire Carrara and give us a patch to make the program work. I sincerely hope the time for the Bryce5 patch comes a lot sooner than that. Just wondering, that's all! kaom

I would love to see a patch even for just a couple of things, then keep working on the harder bigger things. How many of you would love to see an onscreen visual conformation of what has been rendered when using Network Rendering. Nothing major just a block representation of what sections are done, that would be cool.

I was thinking it would be sooner than a year and a half! Hopefully it comes soon. kaom

Lets all just hope that Corel doesn't follow Eovia's example and that they will get it out fairly soon! I'm just glad that Bryce isn't as buggy as Carrara!!!

Hmm, I donno when :) I do know that bryce needs a major patch really soon! :) Anyways, I'm suprised how sloppy the renderer is for Bryce, anyways check out the following url, and then ask yourself why Corel didn't "think" much on the renderer.. ~grins~ http://www.bryce5.net/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=107&FORUM_ID=16&CAT_ID=4&Topic_Title=%2ASMART+RENDER%2A&Forum_Title=Bryce+6+Wish%2DList

Bryce has always had a feature wich does that. You highlight a certain portion of your image (hopefully the part with the object you moved) and render that portion. Griggs

Hehe, no, i think he means more on, doing animations and such, only rerender the part that is actually different from the last frame, it would save the rendering time, tremendously.

shannara - that would be a great benefit! I know max has that option and it does cut down on the render by a HUGE amount! hopefully they will implement that, along with more network support for stills :) Juared
