Just to avoid any possible confusion, SteveJax means "delete the default figure" from the document window, not from the library palette. Sorry if this seems all too obvious, but there is always a chance that someone will read it wrong.

Okay, I have a few spare moments so I want to clarify a couple of things.

I discovered that my Win7 settings did not let me install the 1.0.0-beta1 set.

The 127 set is the one I've been using thinking the install worked...sigh.

When I discovered this I installed it to my external drive then copied everything to my laptop drive so now it is right and I did another screen capture of the dials.

This is what they are for the 1.0.0-beta1 set.

And yes, Simon is the default figure but now that it has been explained how to work it, I will change thing. lol.

About the following channels in the chest:

valueParm Breasts-classic
valueParm Nipples-classic

And this one in the head:

valueParm CTRLHeadGrow

As these channels are valueParm, there dial values will not be recorded when a pose is saved with the option to "Include morph channels in pose set?". It seems to me that all three of these channels contribute to what could loosely be called the morphed shape of the figure, and I am wondering if it would not be better to convert these channels to targetGeom, so that their values get recorded in a pose that records the morphs. When using a targetGeom channel with no deltas, Poser will automatically set the trackingScale to 0.02, but I think that is probably an expectable trackingScale for those channels. This would also seem more consistent with what was done in other places, like "targetGeom TongueOut",  "targetGeom EyesOpenClose", and "targetGeom CTRLEyesUpDown", etc.

Learning something here! Was pulling my hair out as to why something I tried (saving a V3 pose & morphs that makes V3 morphing clothing geometrically fit Antonia) did not work. Thanks!

I had a good laugh about your little excursion to the vatican, Les 😉 Definitly I am not in trouble here where I live, you should see the tv-advertising we have after midnight - Antonia's little nekkid thumbnails are pure poetry in comparision to it.

I was just unsure about the freestuff policy here because I thought that it might be a good idea to realease freebies here as well (or is is this contraproductive?).

What you all guess about the replacement of a figure should be right. I told Poser to start with a blank scene and never encountered something like that. I replaced a figure with a different one here and there to start over a scene I like with a new "actor" (for series of images for instance) - and in this case Victoria is suddenly called Miki.

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

SaintFox, if you post them here in freebies, Renderosity has a "no nudity in thumbnails" policy and for any page one displays.

You also can not link to a site that allows nudity on main pages.

Above is an example of what I included (no, will include, it's fromthe third set I am working on). But the "promotional" images I've made for the poses show Antonia with a shirt, so there's no nudity visible. My problem where the thumbnails inside the zip.... I am aware that for character/texture sets nudity is allowed on thumbnails as it simply makes no sense to show for instance a tattoo covered with a sweater 😉 But for poses you usually have the thumbs with at least a bikini on the figure.

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

@ odf: Is there still any plan to release the program you use to convert from Antonia low-res to the high-res version, at some point?  Morphing and customiation would be easier if people could do the conversion.

I don't think there would be a problem, so long as there is no nudity in the thummnail advertising your freebie. But I'm no expert on the TOS here, and can't speak for Rosity.  If in doubt contact one of the Forum Moderators, links at the top of this page. The worst they can do is remove your link. People only get banned for very serious, or repeated, breaches of the TOS.

I guess that depends on how much interest there is. My impression so far was that people preferred to work on the high-res version and didn't worry too much about supporting low-res. If it were just you, I would simply send you a jar file and a bunch of command line scripts, with a paragraph for each script on how to use it. But I guess most users wouldn't even touch the software without a nice GUI, and that takes a certain amount of effort. Also, certain parts of the program I'm currently using are very slow and memory-hungry, but those might actually be unnecessary depending on what particular workflow someone uses for making morphs. At some point I was planning to rewrite the whole mess, but that's not too high a priority at the moment.

Of course the whole picture changes if I see that there's sufficient interest for a sophisticated, commercial mesh-manipulation tool with Poser support. :laugh:

Well, I'd be fine with a .jar file and a buncha scripts.  :lol:  I'd also be interested in a sophisticated, commercial mesh-manipulation tool.  :thumbupboth:  Anything that could help with the process.  Even is one isn't working to support Antonia low-res specifically, it's easier to morph that mesh and convert to the other.  I've done a bit of that with my own scripts, but the things I can accomplish there are limited.

Sign me up for an odf commercial tool.  :laugh:

@Cage: Come to think of it, if I just gave you a weights file, shouldn't you be able to use your morph transfer tool for this? I don't think I have the weights in a way that you could use directly, but it shouldn't be too hard to adjust them.

Of course it might also be useful to have a script that reads a .pz2 and writes another .pz2, without involving Poser at all. I think I still have Python code to parse and write out .pz2 files, so I should  be able to whip something up (which would mean a much smaller file to distribute than with Scala).

I've used TDMT to do the conversion a couple of times, but I ended up with blocky results which needed a lot of cleanup by hand.  Given a weight file, I could do the transfers, but I think my weight file didn't turn out too well for some reason.  I don't remember what settings I used for the comparison.  :unsure:  I assumed the results would be better somehow with the actual process which has been used during Antonia's development.

I'm not sure what you mean, about the .pz2 files?  😕

@Cage: Yep, I have a weights file that does the correct, accurate translation from Antonia low-res to Antonia high-res.

About the .pz2 files, I mean that if you have a file with low-res morphs encoded as deltas (a morph pose, or whatever the kids call it these days), it would be nice to have a tool that reads that file and writes another .pz2 file with the corresponding high-res morphs encoded as deltas.

Version 1.0.0 is now up on github - just a few minutes before Friday ended here.

I'll upload to the official places after some shut-eye. It will then still be Friday for most, but not all of you.

Will the zip on the Antonia Polygon site place the files in the main Runtime if extracted in the main Poser folder? Or will it create a custom folder with a Runtime inside that, like the github version? Personally I prefer the direct to main Runtime option, less hassle for the end user, especially if they are a newbie, and anyone who does not want to install directly to the main runtime can always create a custom, or TMP folder.

I took a look at her for the first time last night.  I wanted to thank you for a really nice figure.

Thanks for not putting huge milk juggs on her.
Thanks for realizing that women have genetals.
Thanks for making her face look feminine and happy looking out of the box.
Thanks for making a figure that bends well.
Thanks for making a realistic porportioned (not annorexic) figure.

I am happy you went with reasonable sized breasts with reasonable poly count around the nipples.  I tend to prefer normal to petite sizes and its a PITA to get V4 to be small without bad texture issues.  I look at women with huge breasts (yea, I am a guy and damn straight I look) and just think those gotta hurt. The breasts you went with are a nice middle road.  If you want huge juggs, morph them up.  If you want tiny breasts morph them down.  They are, from my opinion, the perfect size to be the most versitile for figure development.

I am glad you put a reasonable amount of polys arround the vagina so that it could support reasonable shapeing morphs.  No, I am not into 3d porn but, I am tired of having to try to cover up things in renders because it just a slit.  The human body, IMHO, is a beautiful thing.  All of it, not just certain parts.  You did as good of a job as I have seen in a long time, commercial or otherwise.

A am also very happy you didn't make her a big breasted annorexic.  Sorry, I don't know many women like that and I don't want to.  Her not so "perfect" waist, hips and abdomin is a pleasent surprise.  WIth morphs, I think she can become many different women, young, old, thin, and heavy.  Your choice to put her in the middle was a wise one.

I feel really S.T.U.P.I.D.!

I must be the only jerk who despite having followed this thread from....maybe not the very beginning from well near there, who despite having marveled at the progress and craftmanship of the figure and her potential to Poser users all around, hasn't installed her and tried working with her a bit.

I guess it is the idea of installing and working and then finding a new version out there and getting CornFused which I have and which I need to re-install...which mapping/textures work with which version and....and....and...must have proved too much for my egg head.

I await impatiently for the F.I.N.A.L. Full-Bodied-Fully Morphed-Complete-No-Longer-Needing-Updates-Version to be released so I can download all the stuff made for that Version Only and then have a go at her.

Am I really the only one here?  :)

I still remember the first previews of the unrigged, untextured Antonia and how they made me long for this model really coming (virtually) alive . Unfortunatly I can't find the first images of her anymore but yes, that was several years ago. I remember that I wrote a comment in the style of: If you rig her one day I want to make her a skin. And now look what you've created, what we created. Hard to believe, how persistent a group of people can be - but in fact I never had any doubt that we will have an Antonia sooner or later (later!). I enjoyed the time with all of you, I am a bit sad because this may be a one-time experience. I learnt so many things. I found this thread so "cosy" because of the friendly way things where discussed and decided.

My credo: Funny how time flies if you have fun!!

My hope is that this is the start of a new versatile standard figure!

My thanks go to all of you for good company and for letting me be a part of this.

...and now: Welcome Antonia, may your experiences in all these runtime be only good ones 😉

Whatever suits you best. The only thing I ask is that if you re-distribute Antonia or parts of her in any way, modified or unmodified, you give me credit. Otherwise you're completely free to use Antonia however you want, commercially or non-commercially. For free content, it might be good to put a copy up on BluEcho's site, so it's easy to find. If you prefer not to do that, or you're making a commercial product, consider listing it on the wiki page. (Links are on Antonia's homepage, so I won't copy them here.)
