Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
I have some ideas, but I have to go off to work a 24hr shift now, so it will be tomorrow before I can get to this. Meanwhile, speccify which version of Poser you are using, and whether your computer is 32bit or 64bit.
Poser 12, in feet.
OSes: Win7Prox64, Win7Ultx64
Silo Pro 2.5.6 64bit, Vue Infinite 2014.7, Genetica 4.0 Studio, UV Mapper Pro, UV Layout Pro, PhotoImpact X3, GIF Animator 5
Unfortunately what you see in the preview for shaders that use the 3D Texture nodes, doesn't correspond to what you get in a render (the preview block use a different coordinate system for evaluation), so you'll need to use trial and error to get the right parameter values for the render to look right.
here are two:
I prefer method one, but the part about animating the transmap ... you would want a procedural, but IMVHO turbulence is not a good method. I tried "spots" but it was too lousy to even post. keep asking them about how to animate the transmap.
p.s. in resp. to steve, OP animated z-scale on turb., but no function plugged into it, hence OP may have typed values in key frames (not best IMVHO).
Your turbulence on the figure or cloth http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?message_id=3779175&ebot_calc_page#message_3779175 looks good. I could use it on my flat for enginefire. How did you achieved it? Would you show me the material room window?
BTW I plugged a function in tho turbulence, but it's the same, no moving.
Quote - Yeah I just looked at his png for the first time. He doesn't have animation enabled. See the attached png I just edited.
I don't think, the transparency node has to be animated, as long as one of the nodes connected is set to animated.
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Engine fire doesn't move in render> I created an enginefire with the material nodes which is moving perfect in preview mode, but doesn't move when rendered.
