Subject: Exporting BVH question

I have made a set of fighting animations - boxing, a few Wu-Shu flying dragon kicks and others. They work really well in Poser, but when I exprot them as BVH they cannot be used in Poser... Help? Even if you just tel me what page to look on it would help!

What errors do you get? The bodypart names may not match. Also, Poser can't handle BVH that is much over 800 frames. -JH.

Hi Ikyoto I've just tried to do what you say. I put together a simple 60 frame sequence and exported it to BVH. I then reset poser to 'New' and loaded in the same figure. I imported the BVH and it worked fine. As Jeff say's. Are the sequences too long? If you could let us know if you are doing anything differently. Colm...

Coulden't you save the animation as an animated pose? Or do you want to use the .bvh with another prog? -Trav

Trav - dead on. I've been testing Mia and it won't take the bvh from Poser... and I'll re-run the import sequence at home and post the exact error I get.
