Hi.

This will be incredibly simple but I'm stuck ...

I created a landscape in VistaPro. Exported the elevations to .obj (via .dxf which Poser couldn't read for some reason, but Blender could and then from Blender to .obj)

I can import the obj file into Poser but can only see it if it is selected or the view is 'outline'.

Nothing renders. I'm sure this is a texture / map issue but don't know where to go from here. Any ideas please ?

Regards.

Mike.

If you think it's a texture issue it helps to post a screen shot of the material room. It's hard to find problems without knowing what you're doing.

It's probably upside down.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Hi. Thanks to both for replies.

I was hoping you were right Bill but nope - I've loked at it from every angle. I don;t think it has any texture at all if that's possible.

Thanks for the tip Red - here's the snapshot of the material room ...

I'll go with Bill and say the normals are inverted.

Try selecting the whole thing with the Grouping tool (easiest done when in Outline/wireframe mode) and then click Inverse Group Normals. And see if that doesn't bring it forth :)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Thanks Trekkie - Tried that - plus a few variants and still seems to be in stealth mode ...
