Does it normally take more than 12 hours after ordering a download to actually get access to download it?

This is seriously messed up and I'm about to start raising hell to get my money back.

No... it's instantatious usually. Go out and look at your orders. You can DL from there. Should also get a confirming with linki within minutes. Are you sure you finished the process?

Depends if you're a new customer.  If you're paying by CC yes, it can take a while.

Anyhow, contact the Store Staff and they'll advise you and if there's a problem, they'll do their best to sort it out.
