Subject: "exceeded the maximum number of downloads" ?

Today a friend of mine made a wonderful present for me and purchased an item for me. But when I want to download the gift, it says: 

 

"You have exceeded the maximum number of downloads allowed for this product."

 

Does anyone know what happened?

The two most likely things are that this is your friend's first purchase (have them see -> http://www.renderosity.com/mod/service/index.php?questionid=56) or that their payment hasn't cleared or been received yet (happens quite often with PayPal, have them see -> http://www.renderosity.com/mod/service/index.php?questionid=619).

I've processed all the first time buyers.  Can you both please check again and let me know if you continue to have problems?

Thank you very much, this time it has worked! Must have been the "first time buyers" thing then, I was really confused with the message of the  "exceeded the maximum number of downloads"... If it had told me "the buyer still has to be verified" or something like that, I would probably have remembered my first purchase here.

I am Having the same problem, My PC crashed and tried to download a product I bought last year it is Cookie Winter Outfit by Porthos.

I'm having the same problem with breaking the wall 1 part 2. Part 1 downloaded fine and so far the other files in the same order are going fine as well.

Awesome, downloading now. Thanks for the quick response on a holiday weekend in the US (we eat our Turkeys in October in Canada).

I'd accidentally started the first couple downloads using a download manager and I've seen it play havoc with sites that require signing in so normally I don't use it for that purpose so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what caused the issue.

Everything else downloaded fine for my order and this just finished as well, great job.
