It seemed to work.  It ran, and produced the expected clothing.  They just didn't fit very well.  It had the morphs I checked off, but they didn't work all that well.  Might have been the extreme poses I was trying.

Argh! I had an awesome set of shaping magnets for Antonia on my previous computer, but the HDD took a nosedive. Not that there's anything wrong with her looks, but you'd never recognize her with those magnets applied (Antonia as a waif/engenue). All gone now, of course :(

Now that she's officially ready, I'll try to see if I can whip something similar up (the only really complicated/hard part was the facial sculpting magnets), and then upload it somewhere ASAP before the evil anti-Poser gremlins decide to toast this computer or something :/

meatSim ( ) posted Fri, 09 December 2011 at 10:03 PM

I would seriously suggest not using WW for antonia to antonia conversion.  In this case the setup room will do all the work and do it well..

I've actually found that WW struggles with Antonia standard even.. I did a conversion of an M4 set manually and then with WW and though the fit was better through WW when it bent there seemed to be a few wonky vertices that would stretch the mesh way out.  Manually it worked perfectly.. maybe 30 min work for pants and shirt

Quote - Well, Wardrobe Wizard isn't working very well.  I guess I have to brave the setup room.

"Import as a prop" - does that mean import the OBJ?  What settings should I use?  I tried using the default, and it came in huge.  Would be a great outfit for "Attack of the 50 Ft. Antonia."

The setup room does work much better than WW.

It was easy, but I suggest a little more explanation in this line:

"From the library change the figure to Antonia Polygon"

For those of us who don't go in the set up room, it's really not clear what you're supposed to do.  (I did figure it out eventually.)

Antonia Polygon ~ WM doesn't just bend well, she POSES well. In order to make original poses in the past, I would spend hours tweaking the pose and looking at it from different angles. With Antonia (even the standard version) a good pose takes only a few minutes. Her bends are much more natural, and one doesn't create by unhappy accident strange deformed areas that need to be smoothed.

There is a large sellection of Free Stuff for Antonia here at Renderosity. Try the different things out for compatibility. I also keep a list of Antonia Links at PoserPlace, which I have to update every day. There are Antonia Products at RDNA, including Antonia Advanced Morphs by Afrodite-Ohki. There are a few products at Renderosity and maybe they will give her a tab in the store like other popular figures have. There are more products at Content Paradise, and a pose set at Renderotica but you will have to get there yourself. PhilC has some freebies, and of course his support product for Antonia in Wardrobe Wizzard 2 (in P9/PP2012 WW2 transfers weight-maps, NOTE it is important to remember this because P9 cannot make WM).

More is added for Antonia Polygon (Standard and WM) everyday. Gallery pictures are starting to appear at many if not most Poser sites. There are a growing number of people posting that they have a renewed interest in Poser due to Antonia Polygon.

Rendersoity has a large international membership, so we hope that our international friends will share this information on forums in other nations and continents, and in other languages. Even if only a few people on any forum are interested. It is a big help to spread the word. Antonia Polygon is a figures designed by Poser users to work in Poser and to take full advantage of the neglected features in Poser. She is a gift to the Poser community, and the Poser community has long deserved a figure (Standard and WM) of this quality.

Not bad for some M4 Hand-me-downs...

This is an AerySoul Set that I wont even try to re-spell here...  The fit was done manually using scaling, morph dials and the morph brush.  Rigging was done by loading the Antonia~WM skeleton in the setup room... too easy..  Still need to do a tiny bit of touch up and transfer a fit morph to tuck the shirt into the pants... or the pants under the shirt.. or both

AS M4 outfit (that I cant spell the name of) fitted to Antonia

edit ugh what do you have to do to get an image to post propperly on this forum ?!?!  I've spent more time trying to post this than I did fitting, rigging and rendering it!!

PhilC has a copy of Antonia Polygon ~ WM to work with. We will see if he has any suggestion for WW2. He frequently scans this forum and often responds.

I never really tried out the cloth room, but I positioned Antonia~WM to use a Miki3 dress, and ran a simulation, and it worked amazingly for me, the first time. Here is the only render I have ever shared at Renderosity using Afrodite-Ohki's Antonia Advanced Moprhs. Antonia has me doing a lot of things for the first time. :)

If it's more than 600px wide, the forum will scale it down (unfortunately, non-uniformly).  Yes that sucks.

When you put your image up - an external link! - you can choose a size for your image. Just type in 700 over the number that is there and delete that second dimension value... make it blank ...

Not right now, because D|S doesn't import weight-mapped content from outside (as far as I know at least), but I'd expect that is a matter of time.  No, older versions of Poser previous to 9 cannot read weight-mapped content either.

No. She is not for DS. For Daz Studio users and users of older Poser versions there is Antonia-Standard.  Antonia-WM was designed for use with Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012, and no compromises were made for compatibility with other applications.

Note that in addition to the default shader in the package there is also the Post-240 shader using Sub Surface Scattering. This shader was intended to become the default, but in a late stage we found some issues when this was used in conjunction with some populat light sets, so the default is now a classic shader, optimized for Poser 9, and the Post-240 shader is an option found in the materials library.

I'm converting a V4 pose pack of mine for Antonia. Those poses are based in actual photos and I had to change a lot for them to work with V4's not-so-real proportions. I'm able to push them beyond with Antonia - and I'm making them on Antonia Standard! Will post some renders comparing V4, Antonia~St and Antonia~WM soon.
