DAZ Studio 3 has the same abilities as DS4 when it comes to this - indeed, with the smoothing modifier DS4 is marginally better (though it won't help with big things like sheets draping). Most of these things need a combination of dynamics and collision detection: as I said, the Smoothing Modifier does offer a form of colision detection (there's a DAZ YouTube video on this), and DS does have dynamic clothing though it requires special models rather than being a general soft-body simulation system. Bending the bed can be done with DForms - if you parent them to the figure they will apply semi-auntomatically as you pose it. Getting the sheet to drape you really have no choice but some kind of dynamics - I think there's a free sheet available from OptiTex.

What do you mean by "special models" required for the dynamic clothing? I thought that was available for all V4s & A4s.

See the "Every week new dynamic clothing" (I think that's the title) thread at the DAZ forums for a link to their freebies - I'm not certain there's a sheet, and not certain it's free if there is. OptiTex dynamics are a special kind of content, they work with other items OK but you can't take an arbitrary model and make it dynamic unfortunately.

Unfortunately dynamic cloths in DS don't work that way, it'll enlarge back up unless you apply some shrink, then it'll just wrinkle "shrink".
To make a table cloth look bigger or smaller, what you can do is shrink/enlarge everything else. I had to do that for a "too small" car cover to cover this large studio type back drop prop. What I did was shrunk the back drop, drapped the cover, then "froze" it, then exported as an obj file. Re-sized the backdrop to normal size, then loaded the new object, resized it and put it in it's place.

About that last paragraph, I'm wondering if I can enlarge and/or shrink that Ultimate Bed and top sheet also. I know I can scale down Vicky, but haven't tried doing that to the bed or sheet yet.
Not sure what you mean by "froze" the car cover, you kinda lost me there with all those steps(I'm very much a beginner still)but I'll experiment tonight.

More than likely you can shrink the bed/sheet that you linked to earlier, as it (one item) is an object with just sheet "morph". The sheet is not dynamic, it's pre-shaped with settings to set different "pre-loaded shape" settings. You can't just shape it however you want, it's pre-shaped in limited numberous ways only. Since you're new in 3D, that's obviously not an easy explanation. You'll just have to get it and look at it to know what I'm talking about.
Dynamic things, however, forms the shape around whatever you let it fall on, just like a normal sheet. This bed/sheep prop (we call it static type when referring to non-dynamic) has only certain limited amount of pre-shapes.
What I meant by "froze"... again since you're new, that too might be a hard thing to explain. To "freeze" a dynamic cloth, you "halt" it from being dynamic anymore, and it won't go in any different shapes again. In Daz Studio, you export it as an object (such as like the bed/sheet you're talking about except without any pre-shaped options) so you can use it later, but it won't be dynamic in any way. When I "froze" the dynamic cloth, I was able to re-size it in a different scene when I imported it back to Daz Studio (after exporting it). But dynamic cloths or clothes while they're alive (not froze), they can be shrinked, but the'll expand back out when you drape (action) it.
I hope I explaned this. This is the best way I can explain, you'll have to actually experience these type of things to really know what I'm talking about.

First of all, as a newby, I'm not understanding why when you pose a model or have her body come in contact with another surface, she or parts of her body sink or disappear into the other surface.
Why doesn't DS4(finally upgraded to Advanced tonight)know that her hand is NOT supposed to sink down into her belly while posing her with her hand over her abdomen for instance? Or when you set her down onto a couch, bed or chair?

For one thing, when using the Parameter sliders(because the Universal Tool is a major PITA to use and I still can't position anything with it worth a crap) to move V4 around up & down & side to side, if I use the Y Translate tool, her body will disappear into the bed if I keep lowering her. Why doesn't DS4 know she has come into contact with another solid object and stop her body from disappearing?
Also, I thought when posing her in the bed, the top sheet would perfectly conform to her body. What I've learned is that the sheet automatically covers her, but hangs or hovers about 12-maybe 16 inches above her instead of conforming to her body. Even when choosing "Fit to." If I lower the sheet far enough to rest over her shoulders, the sheet has disappeared from the top view exposing most of her body. Like hair when you try to lower it onto her head too far. Am I going to run into these same problems when loading clothes to fit her(or trying to)?
And is there a way to have DS4 recognize when her body or parts of it have come in cntact with another solid surface and stop it from disappearing? Or props like bed sheets & clothes from doing the same?
