Weez going to change things up with the Banners for the Gallery, the same old Banner staring you in the face when you come to the Fractal Gallery gets old after a bit. So post a Banner of your own design as an attachment here in this thread and we will start changing Banners on a rotational basis every couple of weeks or so. Any type any App, just make sure they have "Renderosity Fractal Gallery" on them with any Font you choose.

I should have added that you can do ones for the Forums and Showcase also. Just instead of "Renderosity Fractal Gallery" use "Fractal Forums" or "Fractal Showcase"

I have my own website and create banners all the time so this was fun to create something for someone else for once....more to come....(smiles)...

I think you are very clever.  These are good.  Can you tell me the best way to do it please.  I did mine in PI but not happy with it.

   it's easy for me since I generally use a 2:1 aspect ratio anyway, it's more just reizing any one I have than cropping, unless I want render one to the aspect ratio fo a 500x125.

Sorry, I do not understand what a 2:1 aspect ratio is Len.  Do I just write on an image and then resize the who thing and what size font is the best to use if I were to resize the image 500px125? Flip me.  I can find fractals and that is about my limit.

I use Photoshop Elements 8 for all post work/2D art/banners/buttons ect.....

Really for me it would be hard for me to explain if one wasn't using same program...(not sure what PI is?) ...not familiar with the slang....lol...sorry...

But if you....say .....were using Photoshop then all I do is create  a "new blank image"....in this case....(500 x 125)....and then choose what I'm going to place in the space.Then run it through (sometimes) as many as 25 to 50 variations of different filters until one clicks...save as a jpeg with as much clarity as possible and badda bing badda boom....finished...I know this is probably a weak tutorial and I apologize in advance....but it's basically the way I do it using Photoshop and is the best way I can explain it with what I know....(smiles)....

Here's one with a "green theme".....all fractals in the banners are mini versions or "snips" from my fractal factory series inside my gallery here at Rendo...(smiles)..

@ KW  PI is probably Photo Impact, it's another Image Editor like PS

@ Jen   Aspect Ratio is the ratio of Width to Height so 2:1 is 2 units of width for every 1 unit of height. The old norm was 4:3 which was the aspect ratio of most Monitors (TValso) before Widescreen or say 1024x768 at 2:1 that would be 1024x512. I just got to like the 2:1 because it's a close approximation of the 70mm Panavision ratio I used in MojoWorld.

Yes, PI is Photo Impact  I like many of it's features better than Photoshop.
