Dang, that tabouli looks delicious! Now, I'm hungry - again......
Well, with the end of my vacation, I'll leave you with one last bit of fun to clog your arteries. What is a beautiful weekend without some grillin'!
Cheeseburgers and dogs on the grill! The dogs are a little 'done' for my tastes, but that's just the way Jo likes 'em.
I grilled an English muffin to put my burger on....
Aw, dang it..... Now, I've gotta go raid the kitchen!

Another scrumptious shot Rod! Yum!!!

Well Rod, as an old friend said, "Duuuuuude! You're killin' me over here!" You're gonna make me a meat-eater yet. Scrumptious shot! And btw, years back, when I made burgers, a medium-rare burger on an English Muffin? To die for. Love the shot.
And Helle: That's the shot! I bought 3 different taboule's, but none of them looked that good. (I made my own, btw, and used enough lemon to eat through the earth's core.) That's a very mouth-watering capture, Helle!
Ok. My camera's not working, so I have to pull out a 2 year-old 'Seder' table. For those who don't know, the Seder is the Passover supper. That's matza on the table. (We used to call matza "Jewish Drywall". Trust me, matza's stronger.) Hope you all had a wonderful Easter, Passover & Spring weekend! mark
What a lovely table Mark - Truly gorgeous!

Clive, I come from Chicago where our pizza is 'deep-dish' with about 2 inches of crust and a blanket of cheese: A slice can do-you-in for weeks! Yours looks like a pizza I could handle. A very tasty entry. (You must have good pizza in S. Africa.)
Mark, I like that you showed your dog-food on a Zagat's coaster! Maybe Zagat's is printing guides for dogs now. It looks edible for humans, almost...
Below's my second entry for the week, pumpkins in window boxes (near my home). Just playing with b&w...
Very creative images!
I love the elegant way of presenting the dog food! :) I'm sure my doggies will love that!
Clive - That pizza looks divine! I think tonight will be pizza night!
Mark - how creative - the pumpkins in the flower boxes - love it!

@ Mark -- I love your seder table shot! (I'll trust you on the matza. LOL!) The pumpkins in the window boxes is a delight. GREAT angle on that building, btw. Let me enjoy another moment of last month's challenge ... the ironwork is gorgeous! Nothing says "Chicago" like that much ornamental iron in one place.
@ Mark --- That dog food is just the ticket! Mandy would be all over it. :) I showed her your pics, and she likes the second one best ... said it looked tastier. She thinks you're the greatest. :D
@ Clive -- Great shot of the pizza! I like the dof. Nicely done!

Mark, I'm Near North. Tara & Marilyn (beachzz) have lots of terrific shots of my area in their gallery. Tara & Bill (bmac62) also have terrific shots of the Loop. I'm re-learning the Loop from Tara's gallery. Lots of different beauty in Indiana (I lived in Bloomington for a year.) Sounds like you're in the Gary/Hammond area...beautiful dunes there too.
Your pets are eating better than I am! Agree with Tara on the lighting, looks like something from a very expensive French restaurant.
Below are 3 Edward Weston links. Famous 'pepper' studies: Contour, flow, mystery, etc. My computer's sputtering, hope I can get these up...
Momentarily not been here.
Man, what a tasty photographs, beautifully set tables.
Simply brilliant. (Rod, Mark Clive, dashboard-Jehovah, Helle, hope I missed nowone ;-))
The dog-bread of course I do not eat, but I must say, I have sometimes mistaken as I was in the supermarket, and almost bought a tin of this, assuming it was for people.
Now, here my first picture of this week.
Karel would bake pancakes, while I was upstairs.
I thought what do I smell?
Dirty!
I'm going down, the entire kitchen blue smoke, Karel is in the room behind his PC.
Well, I've thrown out that pancake, with here "and profile".
It's like a face. I give them the title:
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. (face to face)
Hoping this will do it for 'food';-)
Cheers!
Oh Jacomina - that is so funny!!! Thank you for sharing Karel's slightly burnt pancakes with us!!! LOL...

Before this week has passed, I leave here a (food)product in which Karel is good at making it.
This is one of the smaller-wine-making bottles.
In this case,gooseberries.
Karel has already made excellent wine, for example of peppermint and dandelions.
After the transfer in the normal bottles, it is necessary to wait six months before you drink this.
However, usually in the 6 months, much has already been consumed. :sneaky:
Bye for now,
wishing you a lovely Sunday further.
Christo - I love Wollies chocolate mousse!!! Lovely images!
Jenni - WOW - 2 superb images. The kiwi's look so healthy and yummy and the doghnuts - well - they are always welcome! Thank you for participating. Hoping to see two more in the coming week!
