Hi kiwi_gg
All The Objects are made from Boolean Parts there are no Metaballs or Terrains I do Group them all together apart from the plane(do you think I should erase the plane?). and Then I go to File Export and then I choose Wavefront.obj but everytime no matter how small or big the object it misses something out of the render. I appreciate any help because I have never done this before and am an absolute beginner in this catergory. I am using Bryce 7.1 Pro on a mac. When you say objects that have been Booleaned do you mean like an object saved to the create menu? Because yes some them were when I tried.
Thanks for Contacting me so quickly
Karl
I wouldn't use the plane. You'll need to lock the plane down.

I have been Trying Unsuccessfully to make an .obj file in Bryce Via Converting the object to a mesh and Clicking Export and choosing Wavefront.obj but when its done and I load it in Blender only Parts of the image come through does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated because I have a client who wants .obj files.
Thanks
Karl
Some language you use is confusing me... you said only part of the image comes through... Did you mean "object"..? Only part of the object manages to export???

Hi Everyone
Thanks for the advice I will get rid of the plane. Thats what I mean tom271 only part of the object comes thought most of it is missing it. Hi airflamesred My Client told me he wants a .obj file or a .3ds file I have tried both but from what you are saying its very hard to do it anyway the only reason I export to blender is so I know it worked and at the moment it does not. do you think I should do it is parts and import it that way?
Thank you all for You help
Karl
You need to make sure that every little bit that goes to make up the object has a boolean property assigned to it. For instance if you use a sphere to cut out part of a cylinder and then grouped those two together - that resulting group also needs to have a boolean property assigned to it - in other words don't leave anything at 'Neutral', no cube, or sphere - or group.
So if you have used primitives, and/or terrains, or lattices to intersect, cut out or join - and grouped those primitives at each separate operation - then each of those primitives - and their groups need to be changed from Neutral in order for the accumulation of boolean operations to have all worked & to include everything in the final object.

Thanks for that explanation Fran, Printed off and going into my Bryce folder. Cheers

WHO said Kiwi's can't Fly ?????
Not a genius - had it happen to me so I learned the hard way - just glad it helped.
