Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 15 2:13 am)
v3 default had flat feet. V4 default has bent down feet. This may cause some trouble
your best bet as markschum mentioned, is export the L and R foot as objects and then reimport
your original idea will cause massive amounts of headaches, it will break morphs, morph injections, maps and on and on. It can be done, but in general, you don't want to.
You can also try the various automatic clothing conversion programs such as WardrobeWizard and Crossdresser

I use Poser 13 and win 10
Thanks everyone for the help –
I got want I wanted, by experimenting and partially fallowing a tutorial for paints. This is what I did. I ended up with two figures: r shoe and l shoe – but they do conform to the figure I want and work well:
cheers

Hello,
I can use 3DS Max a bit, but I’m
pretty inexperienced with Poser. I’m looking for methods to make some conforming V4 shoes work with V3 figure. I have very little idea how to do this.
I thought about exporting both the shoes and V3 model into MAX, then chopping off the feet and replacing them with the shoes, but I don’t know how to get this back into Poser in a way that will work with Poses.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help is greatly appreciated – Thanks Much
