There was Aurelie Pettite here in the RMP, but it's discontinued...

I normally had put by Celeb look-a-like characters in a marked sub-folder in their various runtimes and somehow forgot to do that with Aurelie Pettite, which I have. Now my world is right side up again. Thanks a bunch.

Quote - Looks like that might be the General Lee in the back left, actually?

The Green Hornet's car directly behind the Monkey Mobile?

Some people collect cars, others collect female characters, temples and swords for Poser!

I think that's Starsky and Hutch's Ford Torino...

Monkeys, Green Hornet (Black Beauty) and the General Lee were all cars built by George Barris. Not sure about Ghost Busters. But that could be behind the Ghot Busters Car the Munsters car which was another Barris built car. In a previous life I was a gear head.

Ah, that makes sense... presumably Barris' collection, before he sold the MonkeeMobile?

What a pity she's not available any more! She's very pretty; the best Audrey Hepburn likeness I've seen. :(

So who is "Madam" supposed to be?

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/madam-for-v4-2/94899

And who is the new, "Temptress"?

MargyThunderstorm ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 12:27 AM

Temptress is Eva Mendes. Madam should be Talia Shire.

smallspace ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 1:52 AM

Eva Mendes I can see, but I would never have guessed Talia Shire was MADAM.

MargyThunderstorm ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 2:16 AM

Was just a guess with Madam. I'm not really sure. I thought it's the counterpart of Rocky and she has really similar hair as Talia Shire in Rocky. ^^

Lyoness ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 3:36 AM

I heard in some forums that Madam was a russian actress... although I never got a confirmation. I would really like to know who that is!!

I'm not seeing Talia Shire at all in that one.  Sorry Margy.

The linked thread suggests that Madam is Heidi Fleiss.

A real good possibility. However, now that you mention it, to me it looks more like Jamie-Lynn Sigler "playing" Heidi Fleiss!

Lyoness ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 4:04 AM

The hair has to be part of the identity or it wouldn't have been included.  So, what does a crown braid have to do with this character??

Ridley5 ( ) posted Sun, 14 October 2012 at 7:03 AM

Madam is not Talia Shire or Heidi Fleiss. The character is based on the Russian celebutante and model "Madam Olga".  I asked Odnajdy about this when Madam was first released.

She may be famous in Russia, but she's nowhere to be found in a Yahoo search...

yeah..l searched google and couldn't find her.

His celebrity morphs are some of the most amazing that I have ever seen. The Will Smith and Wesley Snipes morphs are absolutely stunning.

GhostWolf ( ) posted Mon, 15 October 2012 at 4:29 AM

Hmm, I thought that "MRL Riley" character made by Mihrelle resembled (a bit) like Tricia Helfer, who played Number Six in Battlestar Galactica?

Reviving an old thread here to see if anyone knows who odnajdy’s new character, “Fun-Loving Stranger” is supposed to be?

She's not based on anyone famous. Also, it looks like she may be his last product here :( Hopefully that just means he's switching stores. He makes excellent products.

Attention mods: the link below is NOT a warez site, it is a Russian-language Poser/3d forum.

Ok...thought it must be someone famous, given odnajdy's history of celebrity look-a-likes.

I know odnajdy got in legal trouble with the "Red" character. Now I look at my purchase downloads and see that all the odnajdy celebrity packages I purchased were just all updated April 22nd. I haven't downloaded any of the updates yet, so I'm wondering why so many packages would need to be updated at the same time. I've come up with 2 possibilities:

  1. They're all being updated for some compatibility issue the latest version of Poser or DAZ Studio.

  2. The morphs in each package have been altered to make them look a little less like the celebrities, and therefore avoid legal problems.

I don't think it likely they had to be updated because of errors or problems with the packages, I mean, if that were so, how likely is it that all those different packages would need to be updated at the same time.

All the morphs have been altered, so if you have the original morphs I suggest you store them somewhere safe and don't use them in any commercial renders.

I've done a reasonably good Tim Roth morph (If I may say so *L*) and I'll gladly share it. I just need to find the best way since it's a mix of morphing brush morphs and the Morphs++. Do people still use RTEncoder? I've been away for so long it's not even funny *L*

I looked through this and may have missed it, but.. has anyone done Kelli Williams? (Lie To Me, Army Wives ect...)

Hi TrekkieGrrrl!

If it's a custom morph, I'd save the morphs as a pmd file. Just make sure you haven't used any commercial morphs along with it.

Thing is: I have. It's for a large part the Morps++-morphs. That's why it need to be encoded somehow :)

Can you not just make ++ morphs a verbally stated prerequisite... same as many marketplace products etc?

The pose file would just set the values on the ++ morph channels, that the end-user already has installed to M4?

Your custom sculpt would just be added as a new morph, on top of that, then, on a separate channel?

What was your workflow to get the custom sculpt / what did you use for it? Is the problem that ++ morphs are frozen into your custom morph... like a mixdown into one channel?
