They rushed back to town but it was too late. Everyone was gone and their comrade in arms lay dead in the sand. Just messing with different things I am just now getting installed. 8^) Marque

No post work done, rendered in Poser. Mike with the Rogue outfit, Vickie2 P4 with an assortment from the Bbay armour, The sky and ground from the 3D World kit, the buildings from the Dark Ages Kit, the Celtic male from Handspan Studios. Hope I didn't leave anyone out! Marque

Marque that is great, what a wonderful job for just messing around. Really nice texturing, that is one thing I need practice on, I not so good with that. It marvels me to see others be able to do it, so I work that much harder to learn. Just don't ever seem to have the time to learn that too. Some day, anyway wonderful job. Sharen

Nice--just one suggestion. The figure on the ground's left arm is bent at a weird/impossible angle--but maybe whoever killed him broke his elbow, too.

Nice image. I think you can make the man a bit more powerfull and emotional though. First of all, everybody is too far apart. Moving the people a bit closer together would suggest they were all close when everybody was alive and well. Some notes on the grieving man: his facial expression seems a bit too mild. Anguish would add alot. Right now he looks a bit like he just is going to lose his lunch. And perhaps work on his pose a bit. I personally feel that him kneeling on the ground over her and stroking her hair or something could show more affection towards the fallen one. And the elbow on the dead girl looks dislocated... if you want to keep that angle maybe make it look like a nasty injury. I like the second pose you have for the female knight though. All in all a good job. I just feel it could use some more tweaking. Can't wait to see the final.

Do tell how you did the lighting Please! Looks wonderful! Why doesn't the body on the ground cast a shadow? Great pic though! TMG

Yup, his arm and leg are both broken, good eye! I put them together in about 15 minutes, so you're right I do need to mess with them a lot more. I think I should have made him reach out to the one on the ground, who is actually a male character. 8^) Haven't seen anyone using the Celtic Male so I thought I'd throw him in. I believe he may still be for sale here at the Renderosity store. Thanks for the suggestions, sometimes I do this just to relax and then I dump it, but I did keep this one as a pz3 file so I could go back and work with it. Marque

The body on the ground isn't showing a shadow because he's laying on it. lol I had to move him to see the shadow because it surprised me not to see one. The lighting is from the Nerd lighting for the backdrops. Sorry I left that out. Marque

Marque...the Celtic male makes his long overdue debut...DEAD? wink I loved that character from Handspan Studios, but you are right; I have never seen him used. By the way, I think this is one of your best pictures. And the lighting really is superb.
