Subject: how to let genesis skin bump

try many times ,but after render no bump.

does the bump image uncorrect,how to adjust the bump max or min?

and the dispalcement.

You can acess the bump and min max settings in the *surfaces tab.*

Select Genesis then change to your surface tab then you can edit the settings. The default skin tend to use lower quality images so you may need to invest in a high quality character pack with materials like Mike 5.

usually,I scale the bump to 40,min and max bump no scale.

Is this the problem?

Maybe, the Min should have a negative numer to indicate the negative bounds of the bump.

Try changing it to:

Bump Strength: %100

Bump Minimum: -1

Bump Maximum: 1

Maybe that will help with the issue :)

But sometimes I scale bump to 150,and also no bump after render

Are you applying material presets to your figures?

When you apply a material preset all of these should be set automatically.

Are you trying to set skins up manually?

yes i do it before ,the resault is figure to the that material figure.

and now I do not.
