Subject: Poser 10 upgrade will not accept my serial number

Hi,

I just purchased the Poser 10 upgrade for my Poser 7 installation (order id 112456934). When I try to start the installation I'm told that my serial number for Poser 7 is not valid.

I've checked the serial number by starting my copy of Poser 7, going to "About Poser 7" and checking the licence number displayed. The number displayed tallies with the serial number I'm typing into the Smith Micro download manager.

I got my copy of Poser 7 from E-Frontier.

Advice, please!

Hi.

Since your previous Poser 7 purchase was not with us here at Renderosity we cannot help with the error on the Poser 7 program. Do you still have your purchase order email with your serial number when it was issued to you for Poser 7? My suggestion would be to contact the vendor here through sitemail and explain the issue you are having to them as all product support is done through the vendor. Please let us know when you are able to get this corrected. :)

I have found my purchase order email from 2010, with the serial and my details. I've sent a site mail to Smith Micro as per your suggestion, and I'm awaiting a reply.

I've sent two mails to Smith Micro via the Renerosity site mail over the last seven days, but I've had no reply.

So today I've set myself up a support account on Smith Micro's site and sent them another mail that way. Hopefully that might produce some response.

Hi,

I've now got this sorted out with Smith Micro. It was my mistake - I was suppyling the Poser 7 serial number, and the download manager wanted the new serial number for Poser 10
