Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 9:07 am)
I have sent you an email.
what I see is - apparent erc code on the master dial , pointing back to itself.
PHILC will give you a definite answer. He does this stuff far more often than I do.

- the morph uses a new channel name rather than one of the PBM_CC names. It may be fine but its not how I learned to make them.

Thanks so much for looking. I've had my suspicions too that the lack of the PBM_CC names were the problem. But I feel like I must be missing something because you'd think that a vendor utility wouldn't have that type of problem.

Would you be willing to explain this a little more? Is this the :5 problem you referred to in email? I don't want to come off as completely dense but it's been a looooong time since I made any morphs and I'm not sure what 'erc code' is.

INJ files inject information into channels that already exist in the figure. Your file "Depress Calf Inner INJ.pz2" wants to inject information into a channel named "Depress Calf Inner". If that channel is not already present in the figure then the injection has no where to go.
{
targetGeom NAME_OF_EXISTING_CHANNEL
{
name YOUR_NAME_HERE
The first (internal) name must match an existing channel. The second (external) name can be whatever you want it to be. Poser works its ERC code on the internal name, the user only sees the external name.
Also it is probably best to have all the indices and Figure numbers set to one, currently they are set to five. Poser may be able to compensate for that and to be sure one would need to test it, but when I do it I stick with one.
Hope that helps.

Okay so I have a full set of Utility morphs I created for posing. They are morphs to do things like depress the finger tips, palms, foot pads, etc.
I used 'Create Morph Injections' From Dimension 3ds tool collection.
Now I wanted to set it to where dials only appeared on the Body actor and the actors the morph applied do.
So for instance I have a Depress Index morph. The dial will be seen on the Body, and the Index 1 for both hands.
However I'm getting very odd results with the Body dial. It follows no apparent rhyme or reason.
On some of the morphs it causes the head to scale, some the feet, one the head turns. One scales the length of the shins.
If I select the actual actor the morph applies to and just turn the dial from there I don't have problems. So one option is to just hide the body dial.
But I was hoping to have all the morphs list on the body actor so that they could all be easily found.
Any clues as to why this happens?
Anyone willing to take a look a the .pz2 for me to see if they see the problem?
