Here's a morphing prop representing a single digit seven segment electronic display. Obviously it can be repeated to create a multi-digit display such as a clock or evil genius' count-down timer. :)There are poses which set the digits 0-9, so you won't have to know which segment is which (they're named a to g in accordance with the normal practice), and also MAT poses and material files to set the segment colour. Note that the MAT poses may not work in Poser versions above 4, but you can of course use the material files.
I've set the lit-up segments to use the ambient channel, but if you have the ability to use an object as a light source then that should give more realistic effects.
Cool - will be handy. Thank you, and welcome back ^.^

Time to drag the box out from under the bed again. I made this simple hoodlum's hood to fit Simon G2 - my go-to man when I want a simple hoodlum. :)I posted it in response to a request thread in the Poser forum - don't tell the mods, but I'm cross-posting it here in case y'all haven't seen it and might find it useful for something.
Owing to recent changes in policy at Renderosity, there can be no more posts in this thread.
Owing to the ongoing lack of ebot functionality, there should be no more posts in this thread. Is there anybody out there?
Owing to a general tail-off in my freebie production, there is probably less need for posts in this thread anyway: but in case I should want to announce anything in the future, it will most likely be at RDNA's Community Showcase forum.
Oh great. Post formatting is broken again.
I haven't been getting e-bots, although I've been subscribed for years; I just happened by.
I myself have been posting freebie links with impunity over in the Poser Forum, but I really can't comment otherwise, since impersonating a moderator is forbidden under the TOS...

Aha, it seems there is - but of course I didn't get any ebots to let me know about it. You know when you laugh so much you start crying? I've been round that loop so many times I'm getting dizzy.
I think I've finally worked out where all the ebots are going... read this post ;o)
The 3Dcheapskate* occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
*also available in ShareCG, DAZ, and HiveWire3D flavours (the DeviantArt and CGBytes flavour have been discontinued).

Here's a little something else, for those of you who've downloaded the morphing mattress and need some help figuring out exactly which dial to move - assuming you don't like trial and error very much. :)Just apply this image to the mattress, and voila. You will probably get best results by turning off texture filtering. Replace the original texture before rendering, of course...
I should say, click on the image to get the full size version before saving. Oh, you knew that, too. No worries, then.
If you prefer, there's an updated version of the mattress which includes the above, along with material files to apply the maps.
