LOL no problem Alisa ... for one thing, it keeps my thread alive! LOL!

and also FYI... I am back on my shiny new HIGH POWERED 64 bit win7...and STILL re-installing!  I want so much to get back to being creative...but can't until my "house is all in order"... and oh what a pain!

For one thing, my ancient PKZip will NOT work right on a 64 bit OS so I had to buy the newest version...- to get the right click menu options... can you imagine not having your favorite un-zipping program in OUR world?! LOL!!

and on it goes....

Hugs all!

I Hope you were more disciplined than me and made good back-ups of ALL your stuff for the day when re-installing would come fore afterall it is a question of WHEN  than IF! but it is doomed to happen to all of us!

but I feel for you dear.

OH I have plenty of external "book" TB drives and  lots of "ram sticks" full!! Believe me, been there, done that!  :)

I recently found a FREE Dictionary and Thesaurus!  AND in it's OPTIONS you can adjust the size and type of FONT!!!! So you can see it easily! I think it's a SAFE free one, as they sell the Pro version. I did a virus scan...

here is the Free Dictionary and Thesaurus:
http://wordweb.info/free/
works beautifully in my win7 64 bit!!

I had to buy the newest PKZip (my fav. zip-unzip program) so it would work WITH the right-click in Explorer.

Today is slated for my VITAL Front Page 2002..it HAS to work so I can continue all my posting of my freebies! I think it is the last WYSIWYG web site builder and it "goes with my brain"! :))  Wish me more luck!

Good luck on installing Front Page!

As for WYSIWIG editors - I am using the free http://kompozer.net/

Lyne ( ) posted Mon, 21 July 2014 at 12:38 PM

Got my Front Page going fine...woo hooo!! yay yay yay! RELIEF!!

I have one more day of installing (I hope) and am waiting to hear back from CWRW on what FREE Harry textures I can release now...

I also have to call ATT and find out if they are discontinuing DSL in my area and IF I am giong to be FORCED to go to Uverse... if that is the case, then I have to get THAT hassle taken care of before I can go back and go over some of my other store items and also check into releasing some of my dear friend's products too....she and I have been talking about it and she is very open to it... but it still depends on my time and energy to prepare her items for download... She did the incredibly realistic foods/meals and the tree/rock druids for one thing...

Stay Tuned!

Lyne ( ) posted Wed, 23 July 2014 at 12:20 AM

Well ATT DSL tech said "they don't have any plans right now to discontinue DSL in my area"...AND I heard back from Laurie!! I CAN offer my Leopard appaloosa and my "champagne/palomino" colors for Harry Free! yay!

Now just to get time to FOCUS, write the readme, and zip them up... be WARNED! They will have a README that is VITAL to use... as there will ONLY be the single jpg horse coat map! You MUST USE (AT LEAST) CWRW's default mat that came with Harry or in this case the light cream draft color as a base for ALL settings except for coat and hooves! I will not only have a text file readme but sceen capture jpgs to SHOW YOU the settings in the material room of my Poser 9!  You can use the pretty light mane and tail from the cream draft or unicorn's. I am NOT doing any mane and tails either. Sorry but this is to accomplish two things... make life eaiser for me, and inspire sales for Laurie.  Her maps/mats for Harry are "to die for" and make a great base/bump and specularity for mine!

At least I am closer to being able to do this for you. You can go to my gallery anytime and look at my WIP for the appy, and the palomino/champagne colors! :)

huh? one of 4? I will check on that page on my website! No one contacted me back when I first  posted those 4 Mil Horse Textures zips....maybe when I re-uploaded my web site (so my newly reinstalled Front Page would be happy) something glitched! Checking now....

No, the page is intact and ALL FOUR ZIP LINKS are below the image...perhaps you did not SCROLL down? I clicked each link and got a properly numbered zip and mb size for each one... so please do try again and I'll check back here asap!

http://www.lynescreations.com/lynefree26.htm

and now I have no idea why that link won't go "live' here... sheesh! Sorry, you'll have to copy and paste it.  :/

Sorry for poor english, because I am out of your land.

The  poser horse is VERY OLD... and no, I don't have any "templates".... some of PlanIT3d's links are bad...afraid the site is not doing too well. It's better to use the Mil. Horse or the HiveWire horse now.

I will look into this, now you have me wondering what is going on.

Edit:  Ohhh you mean these downloads:

http://www.planit3d.com/source/poser/lyne2.html

There is NO mat- no horse coat colors for this freebie. It is ONLY the cr2 character with the horse MORPHS in it to make the many different breeds and a foal. I am sorry. I have no textures coats or MATs for this. I only created the MORPHS a long long time ago.

Hope this helps to clarify.

Thank you for ripid reply,Lyne.I wanted to use many horse model in my picture,so the model should be less polygon as posible. Then, poser horse was selected.

Yes,I meant that download link, and in that link there is APPY Texture Map download link. But,the texture was not applied Ulimate Poser Horse Morph Set.

I understood your circumstance,so I gave up to use that model.

I want to know if the model was morphed, the template of it wolud be changed from the original one.

thak you again for your so many animal models.

I got the oRez animals by this artist. I wish th horse was mapped so it could take the higher rez files for the other horses even the P4 horse would help for this occasional closer views.

thak you for advice,PilotHIGH.But lorez horse has more polygons than P4 horse,as said Shante. So, it is difficult to choose Lorez horse in my situation.so as money. It will be better to make texure for Lyne's Ulitimate poser horse, but in presence it is in failure.

shante ( ) posted Sun, 03 August 2014 at 3:02 AM

no actually i have textures for the old p4 horse that look more realistic than the textures for the daz lores horse. i don't know about the mesh density or polycount but the default textures are not very good. that is why it would be nice getting the remapped to use higher rez textures at least.

what do you mean in failure?

koutya ( ) posted Sun, 03 August 2014 at 7:32 AM

I tried again P4horse map to UlitimatePoserHorse, but there was no change at preview screen.I can finally find change at reder screen.I am sorry to everyone for my mistake.P4horse map can be applied to UlimatePoser horse.I must try to making texture map for UlitimatePoser horse.

thank you shante,I can use UlimatePoserHorse.

I love your textures Lynn. Thanks so much.

I picked up the HW horse too.

I am looking for the DAZ MilHorse and/or the HW Horse for a texture/horse morph combo for an American Indian pony and/or a Mongolian Steppes Pony which are smaller stockier horses with scruffy shaggy coarse fur resembling a winter coat.

Could I hope for any hope of finding anything like this offered in the future for either of these Poser horses?

Poke poke... just in case so this thread stays here! :)

I have had another bout of sick kitty...and just got myself to my mid year check up (that went fine!) but owwww for my flu shot!

I need to deal with my BLACK horse maps for Harry... should call it "shades of black..er gray" Free maps for the Harry horse now... since the Freisan horse morph/map has come out at HiveWire...

My first try at converting my black map came out more as a dark GREY... then I fixed it to be BLACK... with different socks and face markings... I want to try some variations OF that grey and then get those in a pack for you... :)

Once my arm recovers ! :)  wellll plus if I am honest, I have been SO distracted by my new 64 bit "hog" of a super computer! :))  Got stuff all back ONTO it...but had to go buy the 64 bit version of Carrara.... soooo neat!

oh good... "I'm" still here! LOL! (my thread)....just making sure... life has continued to be CRAZY... coping with a stolen cc card info (my ONLY card) and can't go INTO a bank (long story) to get replacement...waited for mail... it finally came...JUST in time for my home delivery groceries... but oh WAIT... there  is NO TOFU IN THE ENTIRE STORE- my dot com guy said... and so I had to call a friend to make the long drive to an asian store, buy tofu, and drive it on up to me...and now, even though everyone is well at the moment, I do have to drive up to the vet's to get Nickie's liq. meds and more of his cat food... just one "challenge" after another... sheesh! And all that was AFTER I had to have a guy out twice to fix my AC ....again....as it's still quite hot and it has a LEAK?!

I have been doing art, to try and calm my anxities... that I CAN do that, is kinda amazing (for me) so that's good... but when I am going to get back to my horse textures for Harry...and/or find another of my oldies to pack up and put out....I'm not sure... doing the best I can folks!

Hi Lynn!

GHod to rrad all is better fro you.

Thanks so much for the Shades of Gray tex set. I had to reload The Hivewire horse due to some weird memory problems with the Beast. I asked a few people over at the site but noone got back to me. So, I wondered if you might know. Is the mesh density of the base Harry more than the MilHorse 1 base figure? Seems to take sooo much longer to render and work with than I am used t with the milHorse 1 with ALL the morphs added.

Also, Read an article of the now extinct Quagga, a family member of teh Zebra which had very unusual body shape/proportions as well as lovely skin color characteristics. If you are aware of this lovely creature which according to the article is making a comback thanks to the dedicated efforts of a lovely person in S. Africa who has set up a reserve and through some genetic studies has ben trying to cross breed the cosest Zebra familg gNome and that of a horse to try very effectively, to re-establish t as a living breed again insted of an extinct one.

Would love to find an FBM and texture of the most common coat colors. Since you do this sort of thing and know the folks at HiveWire, is there any way do you think, to instill any interest in adding this set to upcoming available for Harry and/or the MilHorse?

Also though white the texture for the unicorn for Harry is not Albino. Any way that can be made available as well? The difference is there is a pale pink skin showing in areas of the horse fur showing beneath the coat (muzzle, around the eyes and mouth and inner ears for instance) and the paler very light blue or white cast eyes missing from that texture that would give a more acurate appearanc of Harry (or the MilHorse) actually being Albino rather than White coated.

I am fascinated by Albino creatures and have been trying to create an Albino tex for the DAZ Bison following an old Bronso western which had an Indian Spirit of an Albino Buffalo, but not being too good in PhotoShopI absolutely am NOT having any luch getting it to look right.
