Subject: Retexturing an item in Studio

In Poser I could select an item and change the materials to something else without having to texture the UV map. Like if I wanted to make a goblet into a goblet of gold I just use a gold material and change all the material zones to be that gold. How do I do that in Studio? I've been able to import some items that were OBJ's and they imported in with their original materials but I can't figure out how to change those materials.

You would need to use a shader preset. Select the item in the scene tab, then select the surface name in the surface tab. You can then apply any shader preset to the item such as gold or silver. Material presets won't apply directly as they require the surface name to be the same.
