You need to run the install script inside Z-brush. It is explained in the Vue 2015 documentation:  http://www.e-onsoftware.com/wiki/Vue/index.php/Documentation/Building_Scenes/Editing_Objects/Working_with_Pixologic_ZBrush

Many thanks

It is installed now

It seems working with some objects  but not with all , But the Vue-Zbrush passerelle works:export to Zbrush from Vue will open Zbrush and import the vue objets in Zbrush

As usual, we the owners of Vue Complete, will have to wait. On the good side, though, it means we won't have to be beta testers...

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

arrow1 - if it was me  would be writing to e-on and telling them about that problem.

Regarding the non photorealistic rendering option. Is it truly rendering or is it just a post work filter?  Because I noticed it seems to apply after the render.

AVX Versus Non-AVX Installer

AVX is a specialized set of CPU instructions that accelerates the processing of multiple operations in parallel. AVX is available on all modern processors (± less than 3 years old) and we use this instruction set in VUE 2015 to speed up rendering (if your hardware and your OS support it). VUE will automatically detect upon install if your system is compatible with the AVX technology, and in the event it is not, the install will stop and tell you to download and run the non-AVX installer instead.

Looks like I'm not going to get it, despite signing up for the maintenance plan when I got Studio 2014 as that part of my account seems to have quietly expired ... no response on the cornucopia forums so I will be pursuing this via their support system.

aeilkema ( ) posted Mon, 06 April 2015 at 4:47 AM

The Artist versions have yet to be released and if you have a maintenance plan you should get it. Normally the Artist versions are released within 30 days of the Pro versions, but it seems they have some issues with it and don't know when it will be released.

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

That's the thing, I DID have a plan, now I don't! ;) But we shall see what transpires.

I have been in contact with support and it looks like my 'feelings of paranoia' are just that - I do have a support plan adn wil be getting the Studio 2015 upgrade when it comes out.

Many thanks to Julia for the swift and helpful response.

I've looked at the feature list a few times now. Wondering if I can justify buying it. No, I can't, I don't see anything that is worth the upgrade price asked. The majority of improvements have been made in the rendering department, otherwise it is kind of thin. There are few interesting new features. From what I understand if you don't use TPF or Photometric, the rendering improvement is quite minimal, it's by far not 20%. Maybe next year if they release something useful. I'm not playing lot's of money for a little more render speed and NPR rendering that has failed to impress me so far and I'll most likely never use. I do find the new release kind of disappointing, I expected way more, especially with the delay.

They did a survey a while back with people requesting what they would want to see in Vue and I don't see much of that back at all in this release. Shame, there were some cool suggestions there.

I notice my one has some kind of plant editing thing that allows export.  But when I export e.g. as .obj and import into poser, the textures don't get applied properly and there doesn't seem to be any material zones which it looks like it needs.
