Subject: There was a problem processing your card. Exception Caught: '1000'

jww1960 ( ) posted Thu, 29 October 2015 at 10:30 PM ยท edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 6:45 PM

getting the following error when trying to check out:

"There was a problem processing your card. Exception Caught: '1000', which means: 'Generic processor error: 10001-Internal Error'. Please check your credit card information and try again. "

I have tried three times. my card info is correct.

this is not the first time i have been unable to take advantage of a sale because the payment system is not working, it is very frustrating and appears to another example of the last set "improvements" made to the web site.

I've been getting the same nonsense for the last hour as well. I checked all the card info and even called B of A to make sure there wasn't a problem. Everything is fine.

Now I just ended up with this: Could not establish link to PayFlow. cURL error 28: 'Connection timed out after 120001 milliseconds'. Please wait a few moments and try your transaction again.

Sale or no, I'm done.

We received an email notification from paypal tonight that they are having technical issues with their API and it may affect any customer trying to use any services of the paypal website. Please give it a bit or wait until tomorrow to pay for your order. If you have a paypal account you can place your order using the pay with paypal option and then it will be there with any sale prices and or coupons applied and you can pay tomorrow when their issues are corrected. Hopefully it will be corrected sooner rather than later.

i don't use paypal and these "issues" occur too often.

i should be able to count on the payment system working, shouldn't I?

We have no control over paypal's issues but we have been notified they are working diligently on it. Credit cards are processed through paypal as well. It seems to be fixed for most customers at this point as orders are being placed without issues. If you would like you can try to place your order now, hopefully there would be no further issues for you. ๐Ÿ˜„

I completely understand. I am so glad they got the issue corrected. ๐Ÿ˜„ Enjoy your purchase!

@icprncss2, your order has been marked as "paid" so you can download your products now.

We understand this is frustrating however we at Renderosity have no control over any technical issues Paypal has. Even if you do not check out through Paypal directly, we still use Paypal as our payment gateway to process credit card payments.

We do apologize for the inconvenience as all seems to be processing without any further issues.

Warmest Regards,

Kristi

Well, if this info helps, PayPal mentioned on their FaceBook timeline that they had a power outage in one of their data centres, which led to the service problem.
