Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
She's still a bit broad in the shoulders, but she does look much younger! I'd love to see a close up of her face... if I'm not mistaken you showed one in another thread... or at least you showed one and said that it was a character you were working on... I think... don't know if it's the same character though... excellent work though. I particularly like the fact that you're including the magnets you used on the body... it's such a pain to get a new character who's body has been shaped, and then have nothing to put on the character! I'm hoping I can get a bit of overtime this week so I can buy Dina... even though she's only 30 bucks, I blew all my poser allowance already! ;)
Now see, I think her upper body is okay, but her hips could use just a tad filling out, along with the thighs. Maybe the calves need to be a smidge longer? It's hard to tell :). I think women should be curvy with more rounded hips than what Dina currently has. Vicky looks a bit skinny to me too - that's why I like the barbarian morphs ;). Laurie
Yeah, I know her arms still look a little heavy. I'm still going to work on her proportions a bit. Actually, I think it may be the pose that's making them look heavier than they are. And, yes, been thinking about reshaping the hips a little, too. Although I was going for a slim, young body type for this one.
Even those athletic women on steroids didn't have shoulders like this. Her proportions just aren't right, and no amount of moving fat around is going to help. I'd far rather have a pear-shaped woman or a "rubenesque" one if I wanted reality. It is far too obvious that Cherry is based on Dina. Carolly

Diane, I've been watching Dina progress and I think she's the best female model for Poser I've seen so far.....I never cared for Vicky, her facial features are too sharp and masculine and her body isn't much of an improvement over the P4 female; also Vicky is over-priced...... I think Dina is priced much better, I like her body shape more, and it seems she poses without the joint problems of the other figures. Yes the shoulders are a little like a line backer, but that can be fixed, right? I plan to buy Dina in the very near future; I need a new PC though, I'm not sure how sluggish she would be on a 300MHz machine with 128MB RAM....... Cherry looks great, my only complaint would be that more free stuff for Dina would likely create greater interest... You're doing great work BTW...... Krel
Krel, Check it out. There's a fair amount of out for Dina already, considering she's only been out for a few weeks. I'll be making more free stuff for her, as I'm sure will dacort and many others. Dina would probably run on your machine. We've run her on a similar machine without too many problems, but of course, more RAM always helps. Putting her in any kind of complicated scene is where you would probably get hung up. But then, the same holds true for Vicki 2. Diane
I am only exploring about Dina today, so I know I am very late. But The center two front teeth should be larger/wider than the other teeth. Is this a Dina "issue" or is that just how you have portrayed this version? I really like what I have seen today about Dina. If I ever get a computer with more RAM - I will very much enjoy working with her I think, especially as the face has SO many polys, and I love portraiture especially. later -dg

I'm almost ready to release Cherry. I'm putting the final touches on her texture now and then I'll make sure the magnets work on Dina's clothes, too, so she'll have something to wear. Watcha think? NO postwork on this pic. (She's a little shy)
