You probably don't even have P11, Pauline, Paul. I wonder if you even have Dawn at this point. The wire frames are not anything alike, in any way. I know this because I did a lot of work on Dawn for SR1 and have completely re rigged Pauline. IE, I actually use the figures in question, look at them in wire frame view, and have done everything I could do to improve them for the community.

You apparently don't do anything other than spew....

Thank you for putting the factual side, I suspected that the claim was wrong but I could not prove it as I have Dawn but not Pauline. I can understand there is a lot of speculation and some very upset people but I do think we should try and differentiate between what is speculation and what is fact.

It's more their opinion than misinformation. Please, though keep it civil so I don't have to close this thread as this merger is important to the community as a whole.

Not really, in the larger scheme of things, basically nothing more will change than where we tend to shop or post. RDNA's departure doesn't affect my use of Poser or what figures I use one whit. My only real regrets are that I lose access to the Deep Freeze and Real Deal items. On the brighter side, Renderosity and Hivewire will both pick up a few more steady customers, and posters in the forums. Sadly, I won't be one of the steady posters, at least not in the Poser forums, primarily because of trolls like crashworship, and basic indifference of the site owners.

I read crashworship's statement as not literal. Because, well, anybody can see that Dawn and Pauline are not the same figures. Or at least I had thought that anybody could see that. ;)

The Poser team is in a small town near San Jose/Santa Cruz CA.

And the Mods and coords are spread all over the globe ;)

A lot of my kin drives trucks. Decades a go we left the east cost that was cold n snowing we got to orange county Ca. Wasn't there but a few hours and a 8. earth quake hit. If your going to get stuck somewhere ,Ca. a good place to be stuck at. nice weather n always something to do .

Very friendly people in Tennessee . Always enjoy going to the Smoky Mountains. Nashville's got some good tunes . I lived in Kingsport for a while when I was a kid.

Wow, really?

I said disinformation, which is not the same as misinformation.

Words like "clearly" in a blanket statement can lead many people into thinking that it is a fact. Disinformation is defined as an act of deception; ie: false statements to convince someone else of an untruth.

It amazes me that when users continue to do this, they are often defended for there actions. There are two ends of the spectrum when it comes to the forums. Those that do whatever they can to improve the community, the content, etc. And the people that do nothing but bash and spread disinformation. I called one of them out, because statements like that are not helping Poser, any community, the topic of the dam thread, etc.

Yes Daz and Runtime are now one. People need to get over it already. It is not the end of the world and the sun will come up tomorrow. The merger is not that dam important to the community, it is just that the community makes it appear it is. Call it a form of entitlement.

But instead, lets just turn every thread into a nightmare of disinformation, just because. Lets support disinformation and ruin yet another community. Allow the spewers to run off the doers. It makes perfect sense in an imperfect world doesn't it?.

Wow, why in the hell would anyone want to ruin the communities by doing that? I don't have a clue why. But it obviously works well for the spewers.

Yes everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I can respect that. But when people resort to disinformation to push an agenda, I draw the line. Respect is something that is earned, not bought with disinformation. You don't have to do much to earn it, but disinformation will burn it quick.

Forum users are guests. And at this point there will be one less doer too put up with your spewers. I will just lurk and watch, there is obviously no reason to do anything more at this point. Soon you wont have many doers left, but lots of spewers when this place suffers the same fate.

But you don't have to believe me about any of this, What would I know about any of this that you don't?

As usual, feel free to delete this post, my account, and every post I ever put on this site. My efforts to the communities are obviously far outweighed by the protection of the spewers. This seems to be a vicious pattern and many of the doers have left and it just hasn't sunk in yet, has it.........

Edit: I read a few posts back that the ebots are now working again. But that might just be misinformation. :)

Thank you Cage for this info. This should have been said top line first post in bold capitals!!! Message to be conveyed was thus simply that RDNA will discontinue their brokerage activities by end 2016 and found DAZ willing to take over and provide post download service. RDNA forum and gallery will continue as usual.

I'm not defending anyone, shvrdavid. I call it opinion, you call it disinformation & that's fine. Was no reason to get your feathers in a ruffle because I was stating my opinion. I happen to agree with you that everyone should get over it already. Everyone is taking all this way too personally.

We're not turning our heads either. I've been keeping an eye on this thread so it doesn't take the wrong path. We let this thread go so folks didn't feel censored, so they could express their concerns, state their opinions, and so we could politely discuss this because it's important to the community. If it continues to turn south it will get locked.

I have seem many elsewhere but not here and that also highlights another point, the statement that the RDNA forum and galleries will run as before. That might well be the intention but that clearly is not what is going to happen, already many have downloaded their orders, deleted their galleries and moved to a new home. If it keeps going at this rate Daz will not need to shut down the RDNA forums and galleries, they will shut themselves.

Well, we can't control "unpleasant" and everyone's idea of that will be different. If someone is violating the TOS however, and as 3DFineries stated, trolling is a violation as are personal attacks... that we can do something about.

Everyone is signed up on all the forums ,there's even a identical post here and at runtime. and all the forums have a Daz and Runtime Merging thread. actually a lot of the post are the same concept . what hair or panties are these and where to get them. what's a good PC. this vs that what ever etc etc .it gets a bit redundant.

I really really really hate censorship. Renderosity is the coolest site.
