If you purchased the poser11 from a good retailer you should be able to ask for your money back hopefully you paid with a credit card or pay pal. Cannot help other than that who did you purchase from?
I bought this directly through Smithmicro online by credit card.

OK Smith Micro have a support desk support@smithmicro.desk-mail.com I believe you can cancel your purchase within a period of time in the UK but not sure were you are. Smith Micro are a good company so should take care of you let me know how you get on. Cheers
I just sent an email through to them through their contact link on their site. Not sure if it was the same address you just posted. They had something on a FAQ there about canceling an order and it would cost $10 or something.
You just made your 90 $ back or cancel the full order and get$190 dollars pay up then take the issue up with their public relations officer, I am sure they will be sympathetic. Sales are a real pain in the Ar**** when they catch you out like this. Still the name is on the label SALE! hope this is not you first experiance with Smith Micro. As I say they are generally supportive.

Yeah I haven't heard back yet so we will see. Would be nice if it worked out though then I could get some DAZ3D models I needed but couldn't afford. haha

In my day I drew them, shows my age computer in the head!
Really cool art there!
It looks like I'm going to have to draw it too.. I have too many characters for models. I was hoping I could afford to do a couple main characters using models but it looks like it might be out of my price range.

Nice chatting with you too talk to you later hopefully and thanks for the great help!
It's always unfortunate when this happens but...
I used to work for "A major electrical retailer" in the UK and when people were caught out like this, the company line was, "Sorry and all that but we don't come round and ask you for more money if the price goes up after you bought it".
The law (in the UK) when it comes to buying something is that when you fork over the money, it's a done deal unless the seller breaches contract by either not supplying the goods, or if the goods are in some way defective. Basically, you don't go and buy something with a view to changing your mind later, even if you see it somewhere else cheaper. The law assumes you've done your research before parting with your money, which is a reasonable assumption. It's fair to say that you're happy with the transaction if you're prepared to pay for it.
Of course, online sales have different regulations here in the UK and there's usually a right to cancel. Most companies do charge a restock/admin fee, though. IMO that's quite reasonable.

This was what I was afraid of.. but hoped there might be a chance they would be cool about it.
Beats me. I'd go for it if it's offered, since it's probably going to be the best deal around.

SM has always been very good at these things.
I have always felt Manga studio is an incredible bargain. This kind of thing raises their cred even higher. :)
Thanks for the help, SamTherapy!

This has nothing to do with your specific situation, but about a month ago, SM had an upgrade price for Poser Pro for about $125. Unfortunately, I was going to miss it by about a week, since i didn't get paid until 5 days after the sale ended. They gave me the sale price anyway, although I do have to mention that I had complained about missing the sale on their online forum, and one of their sales people reached out to me.
@ EClark - Good to hear.
@ Tron - you're welcome, although I didn't do anything. :)

Does anyone know if there is a way I can get that hundred dollars back after just buying it?
