Subject: Really Dark Iray Renders

So all my Iray renders are coming out really dark using an HDRI from Dimension Theory, how do I fix this, do I change the exposure and if so what are some good settings for outdoor scenes, Ive taken photography classes for my degree but I still have trouble understanding what does what and what works well. Here are my settings I am using right now Snip20160926_2.pngSnip20160926_3.png

Can you post a thumb from the HDRI? Its looks very dark, so you can try to increase the environment intensity to 4 or more

and Ive done that and it doesn't help, when I start rendering its completely black, you would think you would be able to see atleast something

The render is right, try to disable the Draw Dome thing and try this HDRI with a simple cube to see if its working. I dont have this one. If didnt work, try to re install the pack

Your render settings seem fine, the presets should work straight out of the box from what I understand.

Is the scene rendering completely black?

Are you sure your camera view isn't being obstructed by an object in the scene?

Have you checked the DS log file under Help/Troubleshooting after attempting a render? Are there any obvious errors after the render starts?

What scene are you rendering?

Older sets made for 3Delight may include a sky dome that blocks the HDRI lighting and will makes the scene render black. You need to delete these skydomes when using the scene with Iray. You can use the HDRI to replace the sky dome.

I have also had cameras inside an object enough that it blocked the Iray render by not the preview render.
