I believe the UV mapping tools in the latest version of blender have even been improved & updated.
Back in the day, if it wasn't anything I do too often (like UVmapping) I'd just run small PC programs in VMware Fusion or Parallels running winXP as virtual session. If UV optimization is a big deal, Headus UV Layout might be a handy solution (though not for the occasional user.) I haven't tested either VMware Fusion or Parallels out on Sierra, but they should be up-to-date. Handy for running other creator tools like EasyPose. -K

After changing over to a Mac, the main things I'm missing (really the only thing so far) is UVMapper. The old Mac version of UVMapper doesn't work with Sierra. I've also tried using Wine and Winebottler to get my Windows version to work, but all I seem to be getting from that is error messages. Is there some other program that anyone uses on a mac that can come close to what UVMapper does? I mostly used it for creating textures from UV Maps of already existing clothing items. Thanks in advance.
