Anyone else notice that Smith Micro release an update for Poser 11 yet?

I am downloading right now.

I have found that displacement now renders using GPU in the new update.

Hi vitachick. I have 3 PoserPro11 installations here, and 2 of them open very fast. The third one takes about 5-10 seconds longer for the Library to fill.

Did you try something like cCleaner? Or delete the pref files and let Poser rebuild the set at next start-up? (Make a back-up first)

But Poser rebuilds a fresh preference file set at next start-up if you deleted them. (Or moved them out of the way)

11.0.6.33735 if my memory is not fading yet.

On iMac Retina (OS Sierra) the previous version did not function correctly when set to open in full resolution. This version works fine, you can now open Poser11Pro in full resolution.

Have noticed sluggish response when selecting from figures list and the appearance of selected item title above its parameter list (also noted in bugs posting).

A_Sunbeam ( ) posted Tue, 17 January 2017 at 2:36 AM

Additional information re sluggish response (also reported in bugs list)💯 There is a problem when selecting body parts - with, say, V4 in the scene and body selected, then selecting 'head' from the body parts list, there is a distinct delay before the word 'head' appears above its parameter list; it used to be almost instantaneous.

Going from 'body' to 'head' for example, this morning, took 3 seconds; from 'head' to 'right collar' needed 7 seconds; adding a jacket and repeating these choices increased some times, the longest delay being 11 seconds. Adding M4, clothed, to the scene also produced delays of over 10 seconds between choosing a body part and the name of that body part appearing above the parameter dials.

This needs to be fixed.

Maybe I'll try again. Previous update or two, Poser crashed as soon as I started it, so I had to roll back.

Thanks, I'll go check it out, if it's newer than my current version, SM will send me a notification in a month or six, they really take care of their Poser customers :(

Rolled back Poser to SR5 (on external drive) and problem went away. Will continue to test.
