Do not know if this has been asked before but Can Genesis and Genesis 2 textures be converted to IRAY? I want to use a variety of figures and render in IRAY. Cheers

It isn't the textures that need converting but the materials - though granted, if the current materials are very "old school" you may have trouble getting control of things like SSS/scattering. Anagenesis 2 at Daz works with a limited number of maps, so may be worth investigating, or you can just apply the Uber Iray Base shader which will leave all maps (using standard property names) in place while applying the Iray shader for further adjustment; in some cases it may also work to apply a regular Iray skin materials preset but hold down the ctrl key (cmd on a Mac) while doing so and in the dialogue that opens choose the Ignore option for Maps (this will skip texture settings, leaving the existing maps in situ, while applying the numeric values from the preset).

I have used the Uber Iray Base Shader and it does quite a good good.

Also at Daz, v3digitimes has converters for V4, Genesis, and Genesis 2. I have used them and I like that they provide quite a number of options in scripts with documentation.

There is nothing preventing you from using Genesis or Victoria 4, or even Victoria 2 in Iray. For best results though you are going to want to adjust the shaders, since Shaders are render engine specific. The converter built in (which performs the exact same function as applying the Iray Uber shader) is fairly good, if you are starting with a 3Delight skin shader, but they still usually can use some tweaking.
