I had/have a problem with an item I ordered; installed properly, used properly, but it did not include features that were advertised. Purchased on May 5th.

First I tried to contact the vendor. No answer. I did so again and threatened to report their product if they didn't answer in a week. No answer.

Then I emailed Renderosity customer support. No answer.

Today I phoned and got a message saying I'd be called back. I will wait for this call.
Is this any way to run a business?

Exasperated.

Hi Marc,

I am sorry you received our voicemail as I have been in back to back meeting pretty much all day.

Also, I have not received an email at store@renderosity.com or admin@renderosity.com.

Please provide me with the order number, name of the product, and trouble you are having with the product so I can look into this further for you.

Order#: 113017912, D3D Perfect Tan Line - Sexy V4. https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=73908

If you look at Dimension 3D's ad for this product, you'll see 5 sample photos. Look at the one on the far right. After installing this into Poser 9 (on a Windows 8 machine), and selecting the correct option for Poser 9 in the python scripts, it displays almost exactly half of the items pictured in the ad--for their interface. It's like I'm missing half my options. I received one .zip file. I wondered if I was supposed to have gotten two or more (this is sometimes done with item downloads). Whatever, I simply do not have all of it.

Ok, you are absolutely correct. About a 3rd of the bikini lines are missing. I suspect that when he updated the file to work with later versions of Python, the images fell out. Not that knowing what went wrong helps in any way. I Am truly sorry!

It's after close of business on Friday, so it's unlikely I can contact anyone helpful before Tuesday, as Monday is Memorial Day, here in the US.

In the meantime, I'm looking for an older version of the item that has all the images you need. If I can find it, I can assemble the missing zip and upload it.

If you would prefer a refund, I can endorse your request, because the product is defective and the Vendor should have responded to you! Again, my apologies.

Andy, what I do have works. However, I would prefer the entire product, as there are selections among the missing that i bought the product for, in the first place. And of course, I'm not talking about just the images in the interface--selecting them inside the interface needs to apply the corresponding lines to V4, just to be specific, when it is properly installed with all parts of the script. There's no point in just having the images representative of those lines that are missing. Just being a little redundant here, so there isn't a misunderstanding.

I can wait until Tuesday, since I've waited this long anyway. I'd prefer to have the full working product instead of a refund at this time.

Yes, I recently heard this, and it was upsetting, as I like a lot of his scripts, and depend on them. 🙁

I received a refund, thankyou.

However, in looking at "Dimension3D" products, there is another item which is similar to the one I ordered. It occurred to me to ask if that particular item includes the missing parts of the python script that I didn't get with my original order.

It is similar in that it also works with V4.

If the part that was missing from "D3D Perfect Tan Line - V4/A4/G4" is included in this product from the same vendor, please let me know and I will purchase it.

I have passed on my condolences to the brother of the deceased, who had contacted me via site mail.

After looking at both of the Tan Line Products from Dimension3D they promo pages and what each product contains is actually correct.

The last image of each item shows the combined or BOTH products and what you get from owning both products. You would indeed have ALL of those if you purchase both the Sexy V4 and TanLines for V4/A4/G4. If you look at the bottom of that last lightbox image you will see that is says User Interface for BOTH products

So, in conclusion, if you purchase BOTH of those products you will have ALL of the tan lines shown in that last promotional image. We are very sorry for the mis-information previously. We didn't pay close enough attention to that last promo image either.

The vendor is actually promoting the product AS THEY ARE and correct. 😄 Want to make that clear since he is not here to clear this up for himself. 😄

P.S. Tomorrow or the next day we will delete that last lightbox image from both of those products so that it is more clear for future buyers. We do not want to do that now, so that you can confirm what we are seeing. 😄

"D3D Perfect Tan Line - V4/A4/G4", says the following; "Note: If you also have D3D Perfect Tan Line - Sexy V4, the tan line maps for both products are displayed in a single interface and bottoms and tops can be combined from both sets."

It says "IF you have Sexy v4..." it does not say, YOU MUST HAVE Sexy V4. It merely states that if you have both then the INTERFACE will display both,and you don't need a separate interface for each set. Nowhere does it imply that ALL the tan lines are not included in each of the two products. The reality is that one product has half the lines, the other, the other half. So a customer like me, thinks they're getting ALL the tan lines IN both products; and the difference is the V4A4G4 suggests that THAT product can work with the two extra figures (BUT HAS ALL THE LINES). It must have been an oversight of the vendor.

Do you understand what I mean?
