Subject: Can't change my e-mail address

I've been trying for more than a week now to change my e-mail address - every time it tells me success you'll receive a confirmation e-mail but I've never received such an e-mail. Renderosity is white-listed on my server so it shouldn't be spam-filtered and there's nothing in my spam folders anyway.

I sent an e-mail to admin@renderosity... on the 11th to ask them to change it but have received no reply and it hasn't been changed.

Who should I try to contact next to get this changed?

I noticed that I'm not receiving any notification e-mails either (like that there was a reply to this thread etc.)

I am still not receiving any e-mails whatsoever from Renderosity. No notifications, no newsletters. When I got to my notifications / settings page there is a just a black rectangle.

Can you please check why your computer doesn't want to talk to me? I have ticked every setting I could find to allow it to, on 3 different browsers in case Firefox was blocking it but that hasn't helped.

(But I am still receiving the newsletters on my old e-mail address, but nothing else.)

Sorry to hear you're having problems getting our emails. I've checked and everything on our end looks good. It sounds like your email provider or software may be marking our emails as spam or junk. Can you please 'whitelist' the renderosity.com domain name in your email?

If you continue to have problems, please email us at admin@renderosity.com with all of your info so we can investigate further.

I have a global whitelist on my server side to allow *@renderosity.com through. I've always had this - the fact that your newsletters are getting through to one of my e-mail addresses and not the others, means your e-mails are not being blocked on my side - it's hosted e-mail from the same server which is hosted by GoDaddy.

What I think might have happened is 2 things:

  1. I was subscribed to some forums that were deleted - is it possible that there's a setting then that won't send me new notices until I return to the forum, but I can't return to the forum as it's no longer here?
  2. I did at some stage unsubscribe from your newsletter and wasn't getting them. I started getting them again without resubscribing after visiting your site a few times. I ticked and unticked and reticked the subscription box a few times to re-trigger it to see if it would come through to my new e-mail address, but it hasn't.

What details do you want me to e-mail you?

Please email us with the email address that you are wanting to receive mail to so we can double check to make sure was properly changed and not in our 'do not email' list.

I sent an email as requested on the 6th of August. I've not heard back from anyone and I'm still not receiving any emails when there's a new notice.

I'm also only still receiving the newsletter on my old email address and not on the new one.
