More La Femme Star Wars- Maul La Femme (Darth Maul's kid sister) meets Obi Wan several years after he killed Darth Maul. "You killed my brother-now you will join him!" Obi replies- "then you've not watched the various animated series- he survived!" La Femme Mauleta-"he did!?" You mean all this Sith nonsense was a waste of time?? Sorry-I'm outta here!"

Have it your way.
Just to repeat my question about the teeth morph ere it gets lost...?
(Are perhaps alternative teeth morphs in one of the packages that i haven't found yet? I love La Femme, but sometimes I'd prefer smaller teeth, perhaps anyone can help me there? I know there's a teeth gap morphI believe in the base package and fangs in fabiana's package, but other than those?)
I have a teeth morph and a fang morph in the feature morphs. :)

Someone mentioned that she can use V4's morphs. They suggested you may have to tweak the hands. Looks like she took this pose pretty well.
I think you mean V4 poses. I don't believe you can share V4 morphs with any figures but the DAZ Generation 4 figures.
I even have those. I'll have to check it out again, thank you!

edit/ ah, I see, that was the morph to make the teeth more crooked, That's nice, but I'm looking for something to make them smaller and with less of a gap between them. And as they seem to be slightly protruding I'd like if that could change, too.

Ulrika has all those, so look out for her.

Oh god she's gorgeous! (And went well with that bra there, wink wink nudge nudge ?)
Yep to both. The bra moved nicely with breast movement as well as conforming beautifully.

I'm glad it's working well for you - it should hit the store any time soon!
Oh good! Then I can credit in the gallery instead of just "upcoming." .

Thank you very much! Because, the skin looks good otherwise , I think, and certainly the Lady is much more my age than all these sweet seventeen skins^^ Plus, there seem to be options for non-painted eyebrows. I don't like painted eyebrows at all...
It is, indeed, a very nice set. I'm very happy with my purchase.
i am not interested in la femme itself, since i don't use female figures at all. BUT i see that content is created for her now - clothing etc - that i find cool, especially when it's free (not gonna pay for content for a model i don't have/want, right..).
so, anyone knows if there are already la femme clones for genesis, like G3M or G8M? point being, i want to put clothing etc made for her on my G males...
IN THE END, MERITOCRACY HAS NOT ONLY PERMEATED OUR DAILY LIVES AND WORK, BUT ALSO OUR HEARTS, OUR MINDS AND OUR PERCEPTION OF ART...
--> Would you like a cherry on top too?
--> Ask DAZ to create a "clone" for whatever their current incarnation of G is!
You certainly won't expect the Poser people to invest time and money into creating something for a program which neither supports Poser, nor LaFemme.??
"(not gonna pay for content for a model that doesn't work in Poser, right..)"
Exactly!

I'm just gonna mention that I've been away from Poser for years because everyone ran to Genesis and that doesn't work well in Poser and I really don't like DS. I literally returned to the Poser scene as a vendor BECAUSE LaFemme is made specially for Poser. I'm happy I can create only for the program I'm comfortable with.

I actually quit doing Poser product at all because of all the sniping about Poser not having a decent figure and ignoring those that were good - like Dawn and Maise, etc.
I was hesitant when Blackhearted asked me to join in on the La Femme release, but am so glad I did. She's the best figure I've ever done rigging for and such a joy to use! Between her excellent modeling and rigging, and Nerd's Dev Kit, content creation has never been so much fun!
I'm hoping (even) more iconic vendors like you guys have the time and inclination to dust off Poser and make some magic for La Femme. This is the most fun I've had since v4 (er, 4.2) was released waaaaay back in the early 21st.
I am of a mind to try a project using her. Initially, concept images. Eventually, perhaps, a comic. I find a project forces me to learn more.
One character is a young skater. She's coming together. I still have a lot to learn but I think La Femme will work nicely. The most difficult part in this setup was getting the friggin' bracelets to look like there is actually such a thing as gravity. The outfit is nothing like what the character will eventually wear but I needed something that looked ok, for now.
This might be a good time to mention... I'll also need a La Dude for this project. Just putting that out there ^.^

Oh, she's so CUTE!! A little thin, but adorable.
The complete "la femme" figure hype is driven by the outstanding quality of the diffuse texture, (The great diffuse texture brings those beautiful renders) and the fantastic sculpting of the SubD mesh.
The non SubD obj file ( that also contains thousands of sharp edges) lacks any form or shape of human anatomy or muscle structure in arms or legs.
A "la femme quality check video" will be released in due time, because it is simply IMPOSSIBLE that anybody, ever, looked at the obj file, or the technical side of the rigging.
But she produces great renders thanks to an outstanding Diffuse texture and great sculpting.
I used one example in a "shoe answer" on the SM forums.

I ended up just making conforming shoes for that - worked really well for me.
And really, she's rigged better than I've ever seen for Poser - she bends gracefully and quite realistically from what I've seen. Her topology might not be the best for this, but I don't think it's hurting anything that we have her subdivided. She works really well for me.

"that also contains thousands of sharp edges"
What sharp edges would those be, Tony? The mesh looks perfectly fine in Modo. Would you like to see? You and I have talked about these "sharp edges" before. I am not sure what Blender considers "sharp edges", as I can't see them in Modo. So it has to be something Blender specific. It must have something to do with smoothing and normals, and how different applications handle them. Since Poser discards normal information anyway, what is the point of smoothing the normals to "unsharp" them ?
As far as your quality check" video that will no doubt trash LaFemme as you have already repeatedly done in the SM forum, I have no idea why you feel it so important to do that. I have no idea where your animosity is coming from, and what your issue is. But it appears to be trolling for some unknown reason that I can't determine.
La Femme's topology is designed for multi-resolution morphing in addition to animation, meaning that morphs can be sculpted at increasing levels of subdivision for increasing levels of detail. That places different demands on the topology compared to a figure that is only intended to be morphed at the base resolution, that's why La Femme's mesh looks different to many other Poser figures - it's supposed to!
Wrote above before seeing Deecey's post - yep, I would also assume that the 'sharp edges' comment is a normal issue, and completely agree there would be no point in having smooth normals in the obj file as Poser will ignore them. I expect Blender doesn't smooth normals by default - the Smooth button is available in the Tool Shelf when in Object mode according to the manual ...

There's actually an extremely important technical reason why the foot's center is where it is but since your the expert I'm sure I don't need to explain it to you. I'll let you explain it.
I'm not an expert, all I can say is that her movements look very natural to me.
As for that thread with the shoe "problem" - I've had that same issue when I made that shoe for V4 (if I recall, I just permanently pulled the top back part back further to make room for her bend) and for Dawn (then I added morphs to be manually controlled), it's simply a matter of where the shoe ends by the back of the figure's ankle, will happen to every single figure because of the nature of bending ankles, I don't understand what seemed to be the problem with the position of the joint center for you in my case.
(In fact, this is the first time I've attempted to rig a pre-posed high heel shoe as a figure ever, and this is due to how user-friendly La Femme and her dev rig are. Took me less than an hour for the actual rig, as I didn't use the bones for the metatarsals and toes.)

For as many unkind things that Tony has posted about LaFemme, I have never once posted anything negative about the figure he has created. I may have questioned his reasons for doing things the way he is, but I've never called his figure "trash" or "garbage."
There's a saying. One man's trash is another's treasure.
I honestly don't understand why he's on this odd mission of his. But it's really not all that cool, and is coming across as trolling.
