Subject: modeling from a picture

Hi, Is it possible to take a picture of a face and make it a 3d rendering?

There is software available that can give you a close approximation to 2D image although you will need a front and side view photo. Even lighting with minimal shadow will give you an optimal setting for 3D modeling and rendering.

CHK2033 posted the name, it's called FaceGen. I played around with an earlier version years ago and it does a very decent job of recreating photo likeness'. At the time, workflows for V4 were being developed; I just don't know how far they have gone to create models, or morph files, for other program platforms.
