I haven't - yet - tried but I reckon you could get a reasonable Amy Winehouse without too much trouble. The default face is also fairly close to Sara Cox, a Brit DJ and TV presenter, former model and so on. I guess she qualifies as a Sleb.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.

Can't see Sara Cox myself, but yeah, I guess someone could do Amy Whinehouse. I'd love to see a Lena Headey, Karen Gillan, or Sigourney Weaver. I have the excellent Scarlett Johanson/MRL Elena, Sigourney Weaver/MRL Adriene characters for V4 by Mihrelle, as well as a few for M4. I'd love to see a morph as good as the Lena Headey/Lionella V8 one by Sangriart for LaFemme.
There is a celeb morph in the rendo market place. See if you can find her. I have been working on a base figure (Ulrika) for La Femme. As a proof of concept, I have just finished a morph of a real person using Ulrika as a base. She is out there in the poserverse at the moment. I will post a picture next week.
What characters would people want ? If there is already a decent V4 version, there doesn't seem much point creating a La Femme version.
Qaz Any chance of updating Ulrika? Version 4 is nice. I look forward to seeing-or rendering a newer version. She's out in the Poserverse now? Where? I'll go looking! Thanks! I appreciate what you are doing! qaz posted at 10:34AM Sat, 25 May 2019 - #4352267

If someone could make the character Stahma Tarr from the Show Defiance, I would LOVE it! I have been looking but not found her as of yet. The actress name is Jamie Murray. I would need to find a texture to go with the morph tho...very pale!

Thank you, ghostman! The Klingon morphs are great. I love them.
Here's my attempt at B'Elanna, the half-Klingon, half-human from Voyager. (Klingon morph 3, about half strength.)
(She's wearing V4's clothes and Maisie's hair.)

Do you mean the Marilyn Monroe character for Lafemme? I have a better one for Dawn.
LaFemme is a better figure than V4, so there's always a point in creating a character for her. After all, a lot of folk won't bother with V4 now, as V8 is the new girl in town.
I'd like to see some celebrity morphs for LaFemme as good as the Lionella one, as I said before.
Looking forward to seeing your figure. Ulrika looks very nice, as does your Lynda Carter.

I would just point out that its no fun trying to morph La Femme with its low density head. I am getting used to creating a morph that looks awful in low res in the hope it will look better in sub division. Its like threading a needle using your fists ! It would be nice to model in sub div 1.
I would like to create a MM morph for La Femme - what is the Dawn version called ?

I'm getting my figures mixed up. It's Marilyn for V4 and Kim Basinger for Dawn.
3D Celebrity Lookalikes is a good index site for hunting down those digital celebrities. It's not been updated for a while though. (It has to be said that some of the 'likenesses' are obviously in the eye of the beholder.)

Personally I think her face geometry is plenty to work with for most things. But one method for sculpting a lower res mesh is to make the features a bit more pronounced than you actually need them to be, so that when the mesh is subdivided the exaggerations soften into what you want. It takes some getting used to but that's how I learned to sculpt low to medium res meshes and actually prefer it now, as I think a lower res mesh is easier to work with. And if you have zbrush then you can turn up the subdivisions on the mesh in poser then goZ it to zbrush and sculpt on 4 times the resolution, then send it back to poser and bake the morph down to the lower levels. For those who don't have zbrush but would like to try it out they now offer a monthly subscription option. I know some folks don't like subscription software, but a lot do and it's where all the major software titles are headed (whether we like it or not), so just thought I'd mention it for those who might be interested but can't drop a huge chunk of cash on it at the moment.

Well I don't have Zbrush and if I did it would take ages to learn out to use it. If I could afford it. Having worked for many hours with La Femme, I can say that its possible to morph in low res just about. The eyes and mouth are really difficult because there is so little geometry to play with.
I suppose I could become a vendor and earn some cash to buy Zbrush or Smith Micro could update the program to accept other programs other than ZBrush.
It seems to me the whole idea of having Lo Res figures is to use in games. Since Poser figures are not going to be used in games, what is the point ?
At roughly 20K she's not exactly low res. More along the lines of medium res. Low res is usually considered 10 to 15K or less. But anyway, there are a few benefits of having a low to medium res base figure to work with even if you never intend on leaving Poser. Multiple figures in a scene for one, such as background characters or big crowd scenes. They're also generally easier to weight map. And people do use Poser figures in game engines either to make games or to make animated films (there was an entire game dev expansion released for Poser 2014. Wasn't implemented very well but it was there), as well as exporting to other software for animation, etc. It's not common to see figures in excess of 50K in just about any other package, because lower res figures animate better and don't drain resources. Plus you can get more detail out of a well organized (optimized) low (or medium) res figure than you can with a high res figure if you're implementing subD levels correctly.
Ambient shade is correct. A lower res Base model is always going to offer more versatility to the highest number of end users that one with a hi res base mesh.
Particularly if you want to reach markets outside the still render pin up crowd such as Game Devs and animated filmakers.
SubD and normal maps can give the Appearence of amazing detail ,at rendertime ,while sparing you the hardware over head of a dense model mesh.
Here is the G3 Male at Base resolution exported to maxon C4D for an animated film project.
Note how much facial "Detail' is acheived via normal maps and the SDS modifier in C4D for the final rendered frames and his MDD point cache file containing his animation Data is one third the Data size of a similarly dressed Genesis 2 exported to C4D at base resolution.

I agree that it is more versatile to use the figure in other programs. I'm not interested in C4D. The vast number of people using this figure are only going to be rendering in Poser so its a mute point. As I understand it from Baggins Bill as far as Superfly is concerned:
Normal maps dont work in Poser. Displacement doesnt work in Superfly. You are stuck using bump maps.
The only way to get HD morphs in Poser, is to use Zbrush, although I've not seen anyone do anything more than basic stuff. Given all these restrictions, I'd rather have a higher density mesh.
So you guys show me what you can do in Poser.

I wonder if a compromise might be a higher-res head. Or at least the option of one. I like the lower poly count and weight mapping of modern figures, but I miss the extra polys in the face when it comes to getting a likeness within Poser.
Yes I agree, the body doesn't need to be higher mesh to sculpt. Also when wearing clothes its of no importance.

BH had said he was waiting for a new sound card or mic (can't remember which) and he'd do a TUT on making HD morphs. I never got the impression he used the morph brush - I could be wrong though. Oh well, DAZ does it so somehow it's possible, they've got the "tool" under lock and key though.
BH had said he didnt use ZBrush so much these days as the morph brush was sufficient. I just put two and two together.
Anyway on topic. La Femme celeb morphs. Here is something I've thrown together. On the left is WW La Femme. I have been working on today. Its a bit rough. Note mismatch of bump map and texture on eyebrows. For comparison we have the V4 version that has taken me literally years to get to. People have even said I nailed it. Yeah right.
So, if I'm ever going to release the figure, she is going to need a uniform. Come on people where are the basic swim suits ? Not even a basic body suit. Is this ever going to happen ?
That's a pretty good likeness of Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman.
It would be nice to have some La Femme basics. A bodysuit/catsuit could be the basis of a lot of different costumes. Like the old DAZ morphing bodysuit.
For WW's costume, maybe the Olympic leotard would work?

La Femme can wear V4 cosplay, even if you lack the fitting room to transfer the rigging.
How can you use V4 stuff without the fitting room ?
Summary: Conform to LF. Move the hip forward and up. Pose abdomen, chest, thighs, shins. Use the clothing's morphs to adjust. Done.
I copy here from my posts on the official board.
I've been experimenting with conforming V4 clothing to La Femme, so far dresses and gloves. This is Epiphany Gown conformed. I moved the hip forward and up; posed the abdomen and chest a bit; and used the garment's built-in morphs to fit. I saved a version for LF and a pose for the garment to return it to proper fitting the next time I use it. She is wearing Extra Long Gloves. I conformed them, scaled them down on the X axis until they fit closely, then scaled the entire body up a bit. LF's default hand pose makes this easy. A little, and I mean a little, bit of morph brush work, and I was in business. Having realized that, I unconfirmed the gloves, moved and posed them to fit, applied a last few touches of the morph brush, and rigged them to LF, so they're now completely compatible.
Here's a test of a body suit and boots (Midnight Destiny for V4). I conformed the outfit to La Femme. I again moved the bodysuit hip forward and up; posed the abdomen, chest, thighs, and shins; and used the outfit's morphs to fit with no poke through. I conformed the boots. I learned that you can actually use the same technique to shift the shin axis on X, Y, and Z, and then pose the foot of the boot to match the zeroed foot of La Femme and use the morphs to fit. It will then follow her leg/foot bends. [I later learned that only a minority of V4 shoes and boots include the hip, but you can accomplish the same thing using the highest body part in the hierarchy.]

In fact, I just remembered that I posted what I considered a failed experiment of my own to create Lynda Carter for La Femme.
Well I have used the Prefitter to transfer another garment from V4 to La Femme so I'll have a go with that later. Did you use the pose method on this costume ? Could you distribute the poses ? I think that a lot of people are not going to want to pffaf with the fitting room.
Here is the latest incarnation. It's going to take a while to get something I'm happy with.
